Summary:

"The air in the cell became chilly and still. Ozai’s breath hitched- a sharp sound that he couldn't mask.

He leaned back, retreating into the shadows, shoulders slumped. He didn't look at Zuko. He didn't look at Aang. A heavy weight of silence fell between them.

Zuko waited. He braced himself for his father to bark a laugh, to call Aang a delusional child, or to sneer at the very concept of dragons returning. But Ozai said nothing. The man who had once commanded armies and burned the world was sitting in the shadows, completely, utterly mute.

'Ming.'

The word was barely a whisper, slipping through the iron bars like a ghost."
