New story coming out

So I am going to start a new novel called ‘The Dragons Mark’. 

Only some people are born with the ‘Dragons Mark’. People born with these marks are killed in the town centre, in fear that they are too different and will be dangerous. Four children have been able to to hide it most of their lives until the age of 15 with the help of their desperate parents. The mark is on the higher part on the left arm. The mark grants power of all kinds, strength, agility, knowledge, enhanced aim - and on the rare occasion - sometimes even magic. Join the Archer, the Scribe, the Mage and the Swords-person on their quest to escape authority and become heroes.

I will post it chapter by chapter, I still need some visuals for the story but I’m sure I’ll get them soon enough! ^-^                                                                                                   ~Thank you!!~

Loradin

I have been playing a lot of tabletop lately. I LARP a lot too, but these past few months I have been doing table top games from monday - friday, with LARP at the weekends. This is all thanks to my wonderful boyfriend, who is as crazy about role play as I am.

For the last couple of months he's been running me my own solo campieng, with a character called Loradin d'Orin. A dragonmarked mage from the house of Orin. She's a conjourer and she lived a nice normal life in Sharn. She had weekends with her brother. She enjoys cooking and reading books. She never wanted to leave Sharn and become an adventurer. she was happy just being a messenger girl for house Orin.  But one day that changed and she found herself in another land desperate to get home. And in doing so she caused the up coming end of the world. 

It's somewhat interesting to play a character who is not brave, a coward, and whose only goal is tog et home. And when she finds out her home has been destroyed by her own actions to return home... To accept that she has to fix things. All on the way, uncertain and scared. 

She's level eleven now. And she is failing in her task. Loradin talks too much. She's very much a very ditzy kind of person, even though she's highly intelligent. She doesn't think what her actions will do before she does them. And she struggels with what to do next, just that she has to do the right thing and fix everything. She breaks down in tears often, and often finds herself sobbing that she can't do it. That the world is doomed, and yet she keeps trying because sharn was her home and she destroyed it, and she just has to make it better so she can go home one day. She has no friends, just a hired bodyguard called growl, a weretiger. Who both me and chris are amused at how successfully he handles CR 10-11 monsters when he himself is a CR 5. Growl really is the steady rock of Loradin's life, and without him I think she would just give up, even though he isn't really supportive. He just follows her because she pays him. 

every game session she just wants to give up, but she tries so hard and keeps going. She's starting to become emotionally exhausting to play, because she's so scared and depressed with no friends in the world but she keeps on doggedly going. And I just love her to pieces for it. 

So here's to Loradin. You will save the day one day! So hang in there!
