i bought their father for 50k iirc (tide/foam/ghost) so i hesitate to do my usual 20k nonsense

Alright so.

I suck, royally, at pricing dragons. I’ve got some Gen Ones that need to move out and move on and I have NO idea how to price them. At all. Period. plz send halp

This girl is frickfracking gorgeous. Ice eyes, one year old, never bred, hatched on 12/25, and she’s XYY. Murk/Fog/Fog. I’m horrifically tempted to keep her for myself. She’s the first double color gen one I’ve hatched... But I don’t have any idea what lore I would give her or anything so...ngh.

Total sweetheart, loads of potential. Arcane eyes, never bred, year old, hatched on 12/25. Chocolate/Fog/Latte. So she’s a ways off from being XYX, but her colors look so good together... Again, tempted to keep, but I have the same problem with her as I do the other girl.

Then....this happened. Hatched on Friday the 13th of this year, never bred. His colors are not to my taste, but they’re also not literally the worst. Ruby/Silver/Mulberry. Kind of nice colors for a Friday the 13th kid. But uh...his eyes. He’s got Plague Facet. Facet! My first Facet hatch! I’m delighted....but yeahno, he gotta go.

So, does anyone have any idea on pricing? I’d considered doing an auction but that seems....really, really stressful. Thanks!

(Quarra) IchabodxAbbie baby- I thiiiiink I typically sold siblings for 20-40K depending on the colors as the range isn’t super tight. Year old, unbred

hey, i think they aren’t selling because their prices are higher than the market prices for similar ones. i know you haven’t played in a few years, i’m not trying to be rude or anything!!

I’ve actually sold at least one (in some cases two) siblings of each of the ones from the post you commented on LOL

For instance I looked at triple chocolates on the market and the only thing was some tundras or something and mine are the only coatls up at the moment. Now granted you might not want those and there might be some cheap ones up later but if you want a triple chocolate coatl now now now then mine are your only option. The other stuff is rare in color or not that pricey.

And once I’ve sold a sibling I’m not in the habit of dropping prices, so anything that doesn’t sell will get exalted, no biggie.

I just hatched a triple gold petals/butterfly/opal, and there are only 2 other xxx gold dergs with those genes on the site. there are also only 7 xxx petals/butterfly/opal on the AH right now, the cheapest being 250kt. I’m assuming the rarity of the triple gold would make it worth more than that?? unless it’s rare because no one likes this color?

i dont know who to ask but....how much do you think a gen 1 nocturne thats ice / maroon / blood (trip basic) would be worth..?i was thinking of selling it but i dont want to get swindled out of money

I’m afraid I really can’t help with pricing, anon -- I’m not a G1 collector and the only three nocturnes I’ve got all came pretty much around the first NotN. 

Anyone else able to help?

Pricing help?

I am still so new to pricing dragons and I don’t want to seem greedy or undersell myself too much. I was wondering, how much should I be asking for rare (1 of 1 or 2, or only one of breed, etc) and even unique gene + color combos? These are attractive, desirable colors, not ugly or random combinations. Crystal/Facet/Circuit or Crystal/Shimmer/Circuit with nice, complimentary color combos.

I also have no idea about pricing G1s. I might find the colors unattractive but someone else loves them or needs them for a project, or vice versa. Should I just ping the hoarders and let someone offer if they like them? Would it be awful to exalt G1s I can’t sell, seems like such a waste of an egg?
