Jane E. Taylor (J.E. Taylor) J.E. Taylor is a USA Today bestselling author, a publisher, an editor, a manuscript formatter, a mother, a wife, a business analyst, and a Supernatural fangirl, not necessarily in that order. She first sat down to seriously write in February of 2007 after her daughter asked: “Mom, if you could do anything, what would you do?” From that moment on, she hasn’t…

Dragon
(Using the ol’ Dragonify Your Muse from a LOOONG while back, I created a newer version of Tempest’s ‘Dragon form’. Have fun with the headcanons!)
Age: 6,000 Human Years (~25 years spent in captivity)
Breed: Pearlcatcher
Headcanons:
Trained from birth to ~350yrs of age on how to defend against attacks.
Is a lot more solemn, sticks to self almost all the time.
Known to supposedly inhabit active volcanoes, leaves only to feed on obsidian.
Mind is split between three personalities- Dark, Light, and Medium.
Medium Personality (Tempest) has sway over what the body does, but must come to a decision with the influence of the other two (Dark = Mephiles, Light = Iblis).
Pearl contains all memories of the dragon, memories may only be relinquished to another vessel by choice/say of all three personalities.
Only comes out at night.
Has been known to defend villages/towns that cannot defend themselves (legend name: ‘Midnight Star’).
Prefers the taste of fish over anything else.
Way less open than normal Tempest- trusts way less- has been known to offer riddles that no one can solve in exchange for her pearl, or straight up turn them away.
Claimed to have the ability to see into anyone’s past and/or future.
Has scars hidden on body from self-inflicted wounds (when Dark/Light would take over).
Whiskers are highly sensitive.
Her eyes are always burning with fire- but the intensity of emotion determines how powerful the flame is.
Rune markings are actually restraint spells from a brief time of captivity under a mage- they are no longer active.
While captured, Dark and Light took control of the body at times and forced the trio to perform murders in the name of the mage- Solaris.
Photographic memory.
Can speak anyone’s language, but normally refuses to speak and sticks to signals (unless telling a riddle).
Has never gone by any permanent name.
How does something like Scourge of Valkas or Dragon Tempest work with a stormed Dragonstorm? Would they see all of the dragons on the battlefield all at once when calculating damage or do they enter the battlefield one at a time?
The copies of Dragonstorm each resolve one at a time, so both Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest will trigger and resolve between each Dragonstorm and deal damage according to the number of dragons you control at that time.
For example: You control Dragon Tempest and no dragons. You cast Dragonstorm and get two additional copies of it from the storm trigger. After the first Dragon is put onto the battlefield with Dragonstorm, Dragon Tempest will trigger and that trigger will deal 1 damage to the chosen target. After the second Dragonstorm dragon enters, you’ll get 2 damage off of the trigger, etc.
I have out 5 creatures. My opponent has out a Willbreaker and Dragon Tempest and nothing else. They cast Descent of Dragons, targeting my 5 creatures, what happens?
Willbreaker triggers for each of your creatures, and they go to your opponent’s control before Descent of Dragons resolves, destroying all the creatures and giving your opponent six dragons tokens. Each of Dragon Tempest’s triggers trigger for each of the tokens and you’ll have six triggers for six damage each pointed at your face, most likely. Not to mention six hasty 4/4 dragons too.
