I highly recommend PS4, though, would you be taking it with you to Japan or get one there? Yooka Laylee is great. The old employees of Rare made that, I think we might have talked about that. It has a lot of good games.
‘m not going to buy anything right now as I really don’t have the money too and I have to focus my funds on being able to live in Japan while I’m studying and working part-time but I guess depending on if I stay in Japan I’ll either buy a system there or get one when I come back but it definitely won’t be anytime soon.
Which game were you looking for at GameStop? I hope you get it! I'm still waiting for Super Mario Odyssey to be out in October before getting a Switch.
I’m not getting a Switch since I can’t afford to right now and I honestly haven’t decided yet, I might get a PS4 instead..it depends on what games come out for it. I think the guy at the counter just assumed I wanted to buy one since I was looking at the games. I mean I guess Super Mario Odyssey seems fine, kinda mixed about BoW from what I’ve heard but I guess Mario Kart 8 would be fun.
You've probably discussed this but: How do you think Code Geass relates to real life politics? Stakes of leadership? What do you think is timeless in layers about it? Bonding? Aside from how uniquely it projects the subject matter.
Well there are plenty of people who have discussed it in great length and I’m not much of a fan of history or politics so to be honest that side of it interests me less. I’ve never been a big fan of relating every aspect of an Anime to real-life situations. The only thing I really cared to notice is that Lelouch’s method is more like an American or European way of approaching the issue whereas Suzaku’s is more like the traditional Japanese way of thinking (I say traditional because a lot of Japanese people these days seem to be learning more towards Western ideas). If you really are interested there are a lot of people who’ve discussed Code Geass’ timeline in great length. I don’t agree with everything they’ve come up with but it’s interesting to think about I guess.
