It wasn't weird for Beacon Hills to get new students, even new seniors would sometimes grace their little California town. So when a pair of siblings came in the first day, Stiles wasn't really that surprised. He figured he would have a class, or maybe two with the eldest, but that was that.
What he didn't expect was for the way Scott reacted right away.
Stiles could feel it through the pack bonds, everyone could feel it through the bonds. There was a moment of curiosity, and then a shock of distrust and protectiveness that usually exclusive to Kira. He raised a brow over at Isaac who also seemed confused, but ever the dutiful beta, was looking around for what caused his alpha to panic.
"Dude! What the fuck is your problem?"
Scott just nodded his head to the new kid and was about to roll his eyes and make a comment wondering if he was going to ask Isaac to hold it while the wolf marked his territory, but then he locked eyes with the new kid.
There was obviously something different about him. It made the hairs at the back of his neck stand on edge the same way they did whenever he was near the Nemeton. The kid in front of them delt with some pretty old magic then.
No wonder the wolves were on edge... Especially since the kids was coming over.
"I'm Theo Holloway. I'm new here. And it's my senior year so I...am completely lacking in knowing anyone. But you all seemed...kind. Mind showing me around?"
Stiles looked between Scott and Isaac who could only just stare. He rolled his eyes and pushed forward nodding to the newcomer. "Hi. I'm Stiles, this is Scott and Isaac. Don't mind them, they usually not this rude but apparently we're going to act like we were raised by wolves today..." He made sure his friends got the hint.
"Yeah sure, let me see your schedule..." He took the paper from Theo without waiting for him to hand it over and looked over it. "Oh yeah, we both have AP Euro... you can just follow me..."
