Fan Musing: Mythal’s Interest with Andraste = Flemeth as Vessel?

Okay, so I saw this post submitted to dragonageconfessions, and it got me thinking....

CONFESSION: I’m like 50% sure of Morrigan being related to Andraste. Andraste only had daughters and it is mentioned in Origins that Flemeth only had daughters as well.

Just for funsies: If we entertain this idea that Morrigan is related to Andraste, and we know that Flemeth is the vessel of Mythal....

And, while I do not subscribe to the Mythal=Andraste theory, I do wonder: is there any connection, I wonder, between Mythal and Andraste?

While Andraste died in -170 Ancient, and Flemeth is said to be born in 3:00 Towers , we are left with about a 400-year period between Mythal’s (to quote the Flemmy’s daughter, Yavana) ‘possession’ of Flemeth and the death of the so-called Maker’s Bride.(See timeline I used for reference below the cut)But I wonder,if Flemeth in some way related to Andraste,did that influence Mythal’s reason for choosing her as a Vessel, making Flemeth a more favorable choice?

While, as stated before, I don’t quite believe Mythal=Andraste, I do find myself—if not entirely subscribing to—inclined towards the Solas=Shartan theory. (link is to @redthealien‘s discussion on the topic)

Taking into account Mythal/Flemeth in DA:I stating, "I nudge history, when it's required. Other times, a shove is needed", one could easily infer that Mythal’s spirit would be, at the very least, interested in Andraste and her role as a leader in the First Exalted March. I personally can easily play with the idea that, as Mythal was all about justice and vengeance and Andraste was the victim of various tribulations, perhaps the Prophetess was spoken to by Mythal instead of the Maker.

It would hardly be surprising for Mythal to use Andraste to further her own ends, especially if Shartan=Solas and was therefore involved, and even if that meant the sacrifice of Andraste’s life—I mean, just look at Mythal’s willingness to involve herself in the Inquisitor’s destiny, and without actually providing the assistance of her/Flemeth’s own physical presence, despite the immense power she is known to have. (No doubt because her Vessel is still capable of dying, and her “backup” Vessel [Morrigan], was already involved.)

Anyway, it’s not even a solid theory, it’s just something I’m musing about. But, I would love to hear your thoughts?

To be honest, I've never romanced Solas (for many reasons), one of the reasons being how unattractive I find him. With his attitude and that bald head. Maybe being a bit nicer and a small amount of hair, I'd give him a chance.

Here’s a shoutout to the mods over @ dragonageconfessions. They handle everything thrown at them so gracefully it almost makes me jealous. No matter how rude someone might be to them, they’re professional and it’s absolutely fantastic to see.

I know there is dislike for confession blogs but I don’t think a lot of people give enough credit to the mods at Dragon Age Confessions. I’ve learned a lot about the diversity of the fandom thanks to DAConfessions. The mods really work hard and I respect how their blog is not racist or homophobic. And because of their blog they inspired me to play the games again because I never realized how much I missed.
