that's exactly what i was thinking the whole time i was watching that mercy PTR video: people are just going to shoot her in the fucking air. how is it "more engaging" now? she's just standing in place but. 6 feet in the air now?????? :/
and she’s like a prime target for all hitscan heroes now. like go valkyrie and any smart widow/mc.cree/soldier out there will just shoot her down. she still has nothing to protect her, and still has the same playstyle (unless you go full on battle mercy while her ult is active)
blizz isn’t thinking about how this is gonna work in an actual game and just think about the ideal situation where your team isn’t made up of 4 dps who yell “i need healing” every 10 seconds (now they’re gonna yell “res me” too) and the enemy team isn’t made up of 4 dps who can’t aim. like at least in her current state, the enemy team has to find her.
this isn’t for mer.cy mains. this is for dps mains who are forced to play healer then complain that they’re not active enough. a support character, not active enough.
