FINALLY SOMEONE WHO PREFERS ENGLISH DUBBED. I’m so bad with anime these days. I used to watch so much and read so much manga, now I’m just like “eh.”
FREAKING DUBBED IS SO MUCH BETTER! Like I invested in the english dub and this the voice of the character do not change it for me! Oh god same here! Even if it were main stream animes like Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh I was on it and manga too. I am starting up again since I found an app to read all the free manga and to be fair I always pushed it a side cause everyone thought I was weird and school but god I love it!
Having to put up holiday decorations together after a big fight. - Isa/Connor, bonus points, they're doing it because Leon is coming home.
Connor let the box fall against the couch probably harder than he should have, but he was still bitter and slightly fuming from the earlier fight. It was hardly irrational to look at jobs in another state, especially when those jobs offered more money than they were making here. Isla just didn’t understand what it would mean to get something as a step up in his career and even worse that he didn’t have Leon to talk some sense into the girl either. The last time he had even gotten a chance to speak to his boyfriend, Connor had run the idea by him only to get positive responses. It was only fair that he expected the same from his girlfriend, right?
His thoughts were interrupted though as Connor heard the sound of another box being dropped into the room. Turning around, he noticed Isla – still looking just as frustrated as he felt – digging through their box of string lights. “You have to put the lights on first, Connor.” She was right, in his mind he knew that, but that didn’t stop him from pulling out various smaller boxes of bulb sets. “I was just looking at them, trying to find the one Leon bought during our first Christmas together. You know he likes to put that bulb on himself. I wanted to set it off to the side for when we gets here.”
Maybe that was the one thing that was keeping them from completely tearing into each other. Leon would be home tomorrow and they wanted to at least pretend to have a functioning home for the young man to come back to. Connor sighed as he placed another set of bulbs off to the side of the couch. There was no amount of words that could describe how much he had been missing Leon lately. Though he loved Isla with all his heart, there was a steadier side to them that only appeared when Leon was with them and lately it had been hard to ignore that he was gone.
“If you find the star, put that off to the side too. You know he likes putting that on the tree.” Connor heard the frustrated huff behind him and for a moment he expected that to be the end of it. “I’m aware of that, Connor. I’ve been dating the boy just as long as you have – just has long as I’ve been dating you. Funny, I figured you were ready to give up that tradition too seeing as you’re ready to leave everything else behind.”
Daily reminder that you are gorgeous af and I will never not believe that and you are not a whale, don't make me roll my eyes at you. (Also Leo is better than Becca. xoxoxo)
