I adore how many different styles you use for different comics. It's so nice to see. I cannot wait to read "How humans court."
I'm sorry if this isn't okay to ask but‚ what happened with Agata? It looked very interesting.
For those who don't know, AGATA was my discontinued canine comic from 2022 that I stopped because I simply wasn't happy with how it looked. It had a demanding artstyle and in the end it took more than it gave me. But I did like all the nuances it had, left hidden in my head now that it's discontinued.
The story followed the feral dog Agata, a crude and vengeful thing on her path to take revenge on a group of dogs that stole her sausage. The sausage, while a literal theft, of course symbolised something more.
The story was essentially her four chapter hitlist, each chapter about one target before the showdown with big bad Bitch of the Beach, Hannelore.
We got to the first target before I gave up. It was absolutely the grittiest comic of mine, both with themes and dialogue. I tried to lean in gore a lot more than I ended up doing.
Anyway, AGATA has been discontinued for years, but you can read the poetic part of the prologue on bsky for free. The full prologue is on kofi. And all published pages I made are on ptreon on Magpie tier.
(The biggest loss of the comic's discontinuation was losing these three gremlins.)
