Of course, it had been quite sometime since they had any means to have any contact with the other world, but he hadn’t expected things to be so different. It was like... the place had completely changed. Then again, maybe if it was reversed, and someone came from Earthland to Edolas, they’d feel the same way. Technology was leaps and bounds beyond what it was when they had that whirlwind visit. But, at the very least, Magic seemed to still be very well and alive here.
He hadn’t exactly volunteered, more like had been forced into it. They had assured him that wherever he ended up would be wherever his counterpart was. He, for sure, had not expected it to be some kind of castle as fancy as this. Nor had he expected to find himself upon the receiving end of weapons pointed in his direction and questioning stares.
