been a minute since I’ve done fanart of something, and I love the Dragonfire Lite add on pack in Minecraft too much for me to not make fanart of at least one of the dragons lol

Hihi! Figured it was my turn to give you an ask hehe, so here I am! Anyhoo, I was curious about your Dragonfire Lite AU and wondered if there were any more details you could share about it with me--if you'd like, of course :)

Hiya!! This story is very much a work in progress but I can share a few more details about it ^^

-the player (still needs a name -_-) has a soft spot for villagers due to being taken in by one once when she was still new in the world and visits as many villages as she can to either barter with or protect against raids (in this au, I’m bending the rules a bit. Raids come whether the user summons them via bad omen potion or not). She cannot understand them, but they understand her and depending on the villager/village, they vary from wary to friendly or in the very least not hostile when they interact or think about her.

-she typically wears armor made of dragon scales that she collects from either wild dragons or the ones she tamed. She keeps her face covered often, typically because it’s comforting to her, working on the reason why. There are traders that approach her base frequently, whether to attempt to sell dragon eggs, lead ropes, saddles, special fruits, and other various goods. These traders are typically neutral and don’t care who they buy from so long as they buy, even if said buyer is the player and they could probably turn her in to get more emeralds than she offers or get killed if they don’t. 

-the player moves from place to place frequently as she is always on the run from pillagers trying to capture her, but that doesn’t stop her from fighting against them in villages or setting their bases on fire simply to be petty. She has been nearly caught several times throughout her life and will eventually get captured along with her dragons and handed over to the evokers, who torture her in an attempt to get her to submit to their authority. Haven’t planned much on that though.

-I’m probably going to draw some concepts of the player but for now have a skin of what she may look like:

This is something different from my usual but I have been loving an add on pack from Minecraft called Dragonfire Lite so much that I thought up an AU for it, so I’m gonna ramble about that for a bit if anyone interested to read more under the cut ^^

   In this AU, the dragons that live in the over world are highly powerful, aggressive and territorial, nearly impossible to control. One half of the native inhabitants (pillagers, vindicators, evokers) have a forced respect for them after nearly being wiped out entirely when they tried to force domination on them and are now congregating in whatever is left of their civilization, trying to come up with a way to harness the dragons’ vast powers for their personal gain. 

   The other half of the natives (villagers) are far more passive and willing to let the dragons roam free, their respect for dragons and other creatures alike shaping how they deal with them. Though there was a time when the natives and dragons were at peace that has long since vanished, yet the villagers accepted this and continue on their peaceful ways despite the many dangers that are intent on destroying them. 

   This is how it was when the user, not Steve or any of the other avatars that have names but one I made myself, first spawned into the world. She doesn’t have a name yet, but she has not only the ability to come back from death, but the ability to control certain kinds of time/weather (this world has cheats, but no creative/spectator mode) and a unique and very strong connection with the dragons of this world. No one knew this including herself until the day she was discovered by a troop of pillagers scouting outside their territory. 

   They were going to kill her initially, but a mated pair of Stormfalcons swooped in seconds before they were going to and wiped them out all save for her and one other pillager, who was smart enough to hide. He saw these dragons gift the player their egg, soon to be her first dragon that she would name Whirlwind. 

    This was something that has never happened in this world before, and with this revelation the pillager set off to the nearest mansion to speak with the evokers, intent on bringing the news that could very much be the start of moving forward on their initial plan.

And so the hunt for the player begins.
