And yes! This is revealed more in a couple of pages, but Cass lives with her father who is Hispanic, but Cass legally has her mother’s last name (Lawrence); but unfortunately she has no relationship with her mother. The circumstances around this living situation come up soon.

Cass speaks fluent Spanish and that’s her primary language at home with her dad!

right? I’m Caitlin but Caitlyn is also Caitlyn, not Bruce, if that makes sense. I think I’m just going to ignore it. He’s not super open-minded and anything I say would just be brushed off. It’s not even worth trying to tell him why it’s not an okay thing to say
