Meet Marrow the dragon! I've been working on him for a while and it's finally time to show him off. He's still rather naked and gummy, but he's going to get his mane and fangs eventually. It's that time of the year! Been working on a new puppet in my spare time, it's coming along quite well! Particularly happy with the head so far, I used Worbla mesh art for the base of the head, @solarcolordust for the painted eyes, @avesstudiollc Apoxie Sculpt for the head Sculpt, and @worblanz Pearly Art for the feathers. Once my teeth are all set I'll be flocking the head with fur. I'll be making more feathers for the tail with the pearly art, the wings will be fabric feathers. It was great meeting a kindred spirit and fellow dragon puppet creator at the Colorado Renaissance Festival. Unfortunately I'm terrible at remembering instagram handles - I thought they said it was @kazehito but I'm not sure I got that right so if anyone can confirm I'd like to give them credit for their awesome creation.
