With your latest post, what does "Pod Squad" mean?

I love that new picture. I don’t usually think of slings as something for toddlers. Whatever Lilith’s workout routine is, hopefully it includes her back.

Also I noticed the dinosaurs on Hunter’s sock. Genius detail.

i mean he's probably 25lbs or so and instead of one of those hiking backpacks i just threw him in a front sling. (i used a ref from a pinterest mom, too ;o; )

also it's so funny how many people like those socks i should have spent more time making them nicer lol.

When Yang tells Weiss that Ruby couldn’t talk when Summer passed, she’s distressed to the point I question the reliability of her exposition. Also, Ruby not really talking much early in life kind of supports the theory she’s a little bit on the spectrum.

Autistic! Ruby was an early headcanon of mine so I can buy that, but I simply doubt it was thought of during the writing process.

And I do assume Yang exaggerated a bit, kids tend to exaggerate events in their head and it can stick around even when they grow up and understand more. (Ever been to a park you haven’t gone to in a long time and suddenly realize that everything is smaller than you thought it was? Kind of like that)

Unreliable narrator is something that could be cool in theory but I don’t think it was applied right (we had time to debunk aspects of what Yang said via Tai in v4 but that didn’t happen) and the show seems to be going through a The Protagonists Are Always Right phase so... hm. Unless we get a spin and have the protags crash face first into reality and exposition bias then I don’t know.

Though in the past I was thinking about how exposition couldn’t be taken at face value, with Yang in particular because yeah she does have a tendency to mope a little, which is fine it’s an understandable character flaw, but the writers haven’t done the exposition bias very well before. Blake and Adam being an example but I won’t get into that.

I was just trying to pin down timeline flaws since the writers very clearly don’t stick to a timeline, giving the excuse to ‘not cause plot holes’ which is ironic because now some characters look bad (like the Bellaparents) and past exposition doesn’t make sense (Ruby & Yang in regards to Summer).

Plus the fandom has been taking it at face value because that’s what we were told so I’m just trying to move around pieces so it can actually make sense.

I thought about how Bolin could fit into that Mad Mako scenario: he could be one of the people Mako hallucinates about. One of the people Mako couldn’t save, along with San and Naoki. Do you have any ideas?

Well, you could ask the artist of the crossover, @articianne, if they had any ideas for Bolin.

But I actually agree that Bolin could be one of the original people that Mako couldn’t save, or should I say the family he couldn’t save and one of his hallucinations (much like the original Max couldn’t save his wife, his son and his friend/work partner in the first movie long before others like Glory, Glory’s mom, and all the other people that came to count on him even showed up).

Another role for Bolin could have been Nux and Opal would have taken the place of Capable (thus creating a romance parallel). 

However, I would like to see roles for Pema (she could have been Angharad but perhaps it’s more credible that she was a former wife), Bumi, Eska and Desna and I’d like to see who’d be Miss Giddy seeing as Kya, Katara and Toph seem to be Vuvalini in this crossover (I assume Lin and Suyin would also be Vuvalini). 

Also, either Varrick could be the Organic Mechanic, Lieu could be Rictus and Tahno could be Slit, Unalaq/Unavaatu could be the Bullet Farmer and Zaheer could perhaps be the People Eater (P’li would definitely be Aunty Entity, if you’ve seen Mad Max: Beyond the Thunderdome).
