Hydreigon stared. And stared. And stared some more.
He knew his momma and Iris were pretty much mates. He knew both loved him and all other dragons very much. He also knew Iris was very skilled in moving around on trees and rocks.
He was glad that his little brother and Iris' pokemon friends were not around, or else they would feel as awkward as he did.
They sounded happy enough, laughing and jumping on the sleeping place Iris hung between two trees.
He was confused though. Most times before, they rough-tumbled with their clothing on, as humans don't have a reliable scale layer.
For some reason today though, they pounced and bit without any protection. The branches looked strong enough to hold their weigh luckily, and no rocks were under or ripe nuts above, so their play looked safe.
Hydreigon's momma let out a sharp squeak as Iris pawed at her stomach and crotch. He snorted quietly in annoyance, but the pale girl relaxed with a sigh, hugging Iris with a head-nudge. Hydreigon blinked as Iris helped his momma onto all fours, but quickly realized why they asked the other pokemon to play a while away from them.
They're bonding with mating?! I didn't know humans did that.
He expected Iris to reveal her excitement, but recalled she was female. And a human. Which have different parts than dragons.
Hydreigon's momma squealed again as Iris reached around her leg, whimpering and rocking, so he decided to leave them alone.
