F! Dragon Shifter x F! Reader!

You opened your eyes and glared up at the light shining down on you.
The sun decided to rise too soon for your liking and you weren't in the mood today.
It just so happened that at the time, you thought it a good idea to have a window facing upwards in your shared bedroom, rather than some normal standard windows.
Oh what a bad idea that was now.
"Good morning!"
Your eyes adjusted a bit as you rubbed them and stared at your lover, standing beside the bed with a cheeky grin.
She was all smiles today, beaming and happy to see her mate awake and well.
But even so, it was still early morning and for some reason you were just irritated beyond belief.
"Morning."
"No good?" She asked pouting, her eyes shimmering in the light.
Kayda was a dragon shifter, and like those before her and currently, she was absolutely breathtaking.
Dragonshifters were usually blessed with amazing genes, and so were their offspring.
Kayda was no exception, though she didn't look entirely like other monsters you'd come across who held a human appearance.
While she did, she also had horns that curled upwards and a tail that she usually kept wrapped around her waist; almost like an accessory or belt.
Her skin was the most eye catching thing about her however, as it was a tinted orange peach cream type of color, while her eyes were a milky gray.
While she may sound odd, it was all the more reason you fell for her.
Well, that and the her.. Charming at times personality.
Though she acted more like a child than someone who courted you for 6 months straight.
You did love it though, you had to admit that.
You sighed and shook your head, turning over and feeling around for a pillow to plop down on top of your head.
Finding one, you did just that and closed your eyes.
The sun was gone and you could relax in peace now, no longer as irritated as before.
"No good. The sun wants to fight and I'm tired and getting a headache."
"Oh no! Don't worry baby! I'll help you out!" She said eagerly.
You could almost hear her smile grow as you listened to the sounds of her shifting around the room while rambling about random things every two seconds.
"Ta-da! Look look!" She said happily, pulling the pillow off of your head and ignoring your groans of protest.
"Kayda, please I- oh.." You said in awe, looking at the small fort she made on the ground.
"Where did you get all this extra stuff? These pilloes and blankets? And is that .. My shirt and bra?"
"The closet and our drawers! Its a nest for us to rest in! I'll protect you from the sunlight and keep you all nice and cozy. I'll get you some medicine too to make you feel better."
Your heart raced and pounded with admiration and love for your lover.
You were so happy and elated, you couldn't believe she did something so simple, yet so grand for you just because you complained about the sun.
"Kayda, you didn't have to. Thank you." You said softly as she shook her head and pulled you into her arms, picking you up and carrying you to the small fort nest.
"I did! We need to take care of our mate and make sure they're always okay. I'm happy to do this for you." She purred, nuzzling against your neck and nibbling at your skin a bit.
A small laugh fell from your throat as she laid you in it carefully.
"I'll be back with the medicine okay?"
"Okay. Hurry back."
"Will do!"
You laid back and relaxed, noticing that what you had originally seen was bigger than you thought on the inside.
She did a great job with this, but then again she was a dragon, of course she did a great job with it.
"Your water and pills m'lady." She said playfully and sat you up setting them in your hand.
"Thank you my liege." You joked back, popping them in your mouth as she carefully fed you the water.
"Ready for cuddles?"
"Mhm." You nodded watching as she set the glass aside then crawled in with you and pulled you into her.
"Rest now then my little mate. I love you."
"And I love you." You hummed snuggling into her.
She was so warm and her breast made an excellent cushion.
You always seemed to have your face in them some way or another.
"When you wake up, I'll pamper you like the queen you are to me."
"And I you." You yawned, dozing off and smiling at the comfort she brought you.
"What a cute little human mate I have. Rest well my love. You deserve it." She whispered
