Mojo Jojo is short for Moseph Joseph Joseph Joseph
Would it be too much to ask from two of your original work??? Goblin Knight and King of Zombies??? Wen all your titles sound so fucking interestingggg
of course sara thank you for asking!!! 💖💖 (and for saying such lovely things akdjaksdaksjd!!! 💖💖)
okay, these are not as developed so they are mostly concepts, but here they are:
The Goblin Knight
Despite the title, this is about a goose girl asdskd, and it’s about those who are dismissed fighting to be recognized as people.
I had this idea in my head that, as we all know, geese are vicious creatures who would rip your throat off if they could. so a goose girl cannot be some helpless maiden, she is actually a fierce little thing full of rage able to control them, taking her and her town’s geese out to pasture and then bringing them back home unharmed. she lives in a large kingdom where there used be magic folk, but they’re now part of history. of that, she has plenty - lots of folktales and legends about the knights of old and the wars they waged and the fantastic animals and creatures they all encountered. but that’s what they are, stories. she is from a very small town on the verge of a big, thick forest, and she’s never actually seen the city or the palace or a noble in all her life, least of all a knight. the woods are also said to be enchanted, but she walks through them all the time, she knows it’s just tales.
until one day she is trying to collect one of the younger geese that’s trapped in some bushes, and she hears the forest whispering.
immediately after a hole opens in the fabric of reality and out comes a man, with very strange clothes, mumbling about how the enemy is defeated. he is a bard, he has a lute an everything, and the goose girl soon realizes he is from the past. he insists his sir is coming right after, because he was the bard in charge of heralding the goblin knight, who shows up shortly after in a white horse, after the woods whisper some more.
so it turns out the forest is enchanted, and the goblin knight has been lost along with his bard for thousands of years in it, even if for them no significant amount of time had passed. the land where the girl lives used to belong to the goblins, but they exist no more. the goblin realizes then that his king betrayed his kind, who had been promised a place in the kingdom forever. and the goblin knight swears vengance upon the current king, because he had sacrificed himself by going into the enchanted forest in the first place, hunting down a magic creature that had been bothering the kingdom, so he could be recognized as a proper knight, and have a place and voice in court. and the little girl, who is fierce and angry and knows what it’s like to be small and dismissed, decides to guide him to the palace she doesn’t know.
this is where the story legitimately got out of my hands, and i realized I was touching issues of race I wasn’t sure I was prepared enough to write, so I basically canned the idea until further notice.
King of Zombies
One day I was fooling around and thought “hey, what happens to vampires during a zombie apocalypse? they can’t eat zombie blood, can they? maybe they can do a deal with a normal human, and protect them in exchange of being able to drink their blood through a straw or something, like kool-aid” and this is that lmaooo.
Peregrine Aramastus Mordred is a Viscount (no one knows from where) and he is also a vampire. He lives a happy little life until one night, in Halloween, he wakes up and his "servant” is dead, and the whole world has fallen silent and covered in blood while he napped. he tries to figure out how to face this new problem while he feels offended that there’s suddenly new non-vampire, undead creatures who can turn others with a bite but who waste the blood like animals.
Searching for healthy, clean blood, he encounters none other than a geneticist who is desperately trying to figure out if the zombies are created by a mutation. she is on a solo trip to recover resources for her lab, and the vampire saves her from zombies because fresh blood has been hard to find and he won’t let it go to waste, dammit!! she realizes he is super strong and immune to zombie bites, and so she does the smart thing and offers him a deal. the vampire has nothing better to do and is willing to work for food, so he finds himself in the passenger seat of a modified minivan, covered with a giant hat and going through zombie-ridden land with a scientist hell bent in saving the world. And the story was going to be about their friendship and how he finds his place in this new world and her community lol.
Thank you so much for asking Sara 😭💖 really appreciate it!!
warmth!
I have to cheat on this one! “Warmth” comes up with nothing, but for “warm” I have:
He curls himself around her afterwards, thoroughly ruined, burying his face against her warm skin.
Do u have a link to that video of Nico and Daniel driving? I can only find the one with Carlos and Nico 😔
I can’t find it either! @it-may-be-dull-but-im-determined - any thoughts on where to find it? Anyone else? My searching leaves me empty so far.
Hi Berny! Was just wondering if you remembered this modau where Brienne's siblings and mom were alive, and Brienne had a sort of odd relationship with her sisters bc age difference and bc they're nothing like her in terms of beauty/social lives etc. And both her parents were separated but had a good enough relationship that they had family gatherings together? I don't think there was a lot of focus on her family, it was mostly a JB fic tho
Hmmm I don’t remember a modern AU like this, the only story that came to mind was the fairy tale AU Bearskin by ellaria which does have Brienne’s sisters in it. Anyone else know what this is?
R, S, Z!
R: Which writers (fanfic or otherwise) do you consider the biggest influence on you and your writing?
Uhhhh this can be tough to self-judge. At this point it would be myopic not to acknowledge GRRM has been an influence because I have deliberately worked to emulate his characterization. I’ll be sad 90s cliche internalized misogyny girl and say Bukowski has had an outsized influence on how I *wish* I could say things (reality probs no affect on my actual work). Failed comics writer me says Moore (yikes) & Gaiman. Dumas captured my imagination as a kid in a way that for some reason tends to seep into every genre thing I touch. Just for how their work impacted me, I think Dodie Smith, Cynthia Voigt, Baroness Orczy, Jane Austen, and Terry Pratchett should be on the list.
S: How do you feel about fan art inspired by your writing?
Awed and honored. It’s probably the greatest compliment someone who regularly wonders how anyone can ever form mental images from the words they write can receive.
Z: Is there a story you’ve written that doesn’t seem to get much love?
Haaaaa! Not sure how many people know this, but the first part of Honor Thy Regard started out as a stand-alone one shot. And it was (understandably) the biggest dud I’ve ever posted in any fandom. (lol at me thinking I could write a stand-alone one shot and get JB out of my system🙄😂)
hiii! do you have a link to that vid of siyeon impersonating woojoo?
Hello!! You can find that video here ^^💖
