dragoonkain: I’ll answer that later :)
Jaime and Arianne chapters are excellent, but Arya's remain my personal favourites. Bran is tied for worst with Daenarys, both those two I hate because neither character actually do anything, anything they do is just in reaction to something else happening to them. Jon was pretty bad early on, but he went from being a character who had stuff happening to him to a character where he actually did stuff.
I love Arya's transformation in the books, and I think that's what make her chapters so interesting to read? But ugh Bran and Dany literally NOTHING happens and i'm just like oh goooddddd when can i move on to someone else. I know it's so bad to say this since I know some people are huge Dany/Bran stans but yeah not for me really.
I agree with Jon's chapters were horrific for me to read (and Sam's too until AFFC) but ASOS and onwards it kinda got better for me?
I have no idea if he's a POV character, I'm just trying to imagine his chapters in GRRM's prose, Rickon focused on walnuts and Osha trying to get him to knock it off and Rickon being whiny.
i guess it would kinda adorable and heartwarming (finally something like that in the world of asoiaf) but it would be hella boring too because i find his brother bran boring as hell
i practically almost scanread his chapters so i can move onto to the next pov tbh
Thoughts on Rickon POV chapters?
he isn't a pov character though???
Question, as one Canadian to another, what are your thoughts on Moffat?
Ugh.
He needs to stop pushing people off buildings. And stop being so prejudiced. And maybe rely more on scripts than on effects.
Idk. Just a few ideas.
Sorry, just saw a question you answered, I was just wondering what you meant when you said Jack wasn't a companion in the literal sense of the word and didn't "really travel" with the Doctor. Personally, I count anyone the Doctor voluntarily allowed a trip on the TARDIS, so Jack, Wilf, and even Adam Mitchell count in my book.
I wrote this: “Hm, I really love Jack Harkness, I do see him as a companion, but he is not one in the literal sense of the word, I guess. But other than him, who really weren’t travelling with the Doctor I would say Sally Sparrow, and Vincent.”
Basically what I meant was that I love Jack and I do see him as a companion, but he is not a companion like Rose or Donna or Amy who has travelled with the Doctor a lot. I still see him as a companion, just not a “constant” one. And with the rest of the sentence I was meant to say that other than him, who actually travelled around with the Doctor, I really love Sally Sparrow and Vincent, who didn’t actually travel around with him. I am sorry that I couldn’t convey my point thoroughly to you. English isn’t my first language, so sometimes I mess up with wording my thoughts. I hope this explanation cleared it up for you though. :)
May I have a URL graphic, please?
I'd love to make you one, but honestly I have no idea what your url means, I am so sorry. But perhaps if you explain it to me, I will feel inspired. I am so sorry for having no idea where your url is from!
