Meet Ganache!
Ganache is a gift for @jackalopingintothevoid for just being an A+ human. She's really helped me to understand what Asexuality is, and has dug me so deep into the Halo fandom that I'm never coming back. Bye yall.
Ganache is Dragoo, one of my original species. They can shapeshift at will, and produce thier wings by inhaling air to displace body mass. They are a floofnoodle frend based on chocolate mousse and caramel, and belong entirely to Jack! So she can decide on the rest of the lil details.
New Species Soon
So, a looooong while back, I was griping about someone online whom I had adopted a character from, and a couple people in the Discord suggested I take a shot at making my own species from scratch.
So I did.
I don’t have any pics to post yet, since my printer shit the bed and I’m waiting to invest in a flatbed scanner. But here’s the basic info:
They’re called Dragoos, and they’re gummy candy being who can change their shape and come in p much any color and flavor combo ever. They’re generally serpentine quadrupeds, but can also be bipedal. They can be extra noodley, or short n chubby. They can also have some weirder features as far as their default form, but I’d have to draw it out to help describe it. Their bodies are warm and the texture is soft, like human skin.
They do have flavors, and can be either sweet or savory, or a combo. Savory Dragoos are called Aspics, and sweet ones are called Gummies. A combination of the two is an Agar. They can also be transparent or opaque, or a combination. Clear flavorless Dragoos are rare, and are called Mizu. Opaque/white flavorless are called Leche. Dragoos can have a variety of features, and can change their features as they see fit. Some variants include:
Sugared/Salted: sparkly, sandpaper-like skin.
Garnished: Skin that looks like it’s covered in sprinkles (pattern and texture can vary greatly)
Candied: Skin texture that looks like large plate scales made of hard, cracked candy.
They can also have a variety of features, such as rock candy/rock salt horns and crests, ribbon candy or fruit leather crests and candy hair (think Twizzlers pull apart ropes) or hair and other features that look like gelatin that has melted some. Their claws are hard candy and can be blunt nubs, or hard candy/rock salt shards. Their teeth are the same.
Unlike food gelatin or kanten, Dragoos do not dissolve when exposed to water or heat, though they tend to get sticky, and can swim. They can also fly by storing inhaled gas bubbles in their bodies and using the displaced mass to create wings.
Dragoos are asexual and can be any gender they choose, and morph features of any sex depending on their personal preference. They must still mate with another Dragoo to reproduce. Young are first born as jelly eggs that morph into small, near-formless babies called Gumdrops within a week. They are a semi-transparent tan and flavorless, with their color and flavor developing with age and personality, usually ending up a combination of their parents. Jelly eggs are laid in clutches of one to three.
I’m really excited for these guys, and have been doodling them at work to get a feel and develop ideas. I can’t fucking WAIT to be able to post pics.

i found the perrrrrfect color combo to make super awesome babies with one of my dragons. when i searched for dragons with those colors i saw one that was unnamed and asked the owner if they'd be willing to sell him for any price they want. "actually no he's one of my favorites"

so irritated...someone bought two of the babies from my first hatching, and i was like aww brother and sister get to stay together. but then i noticed a day had passed and this person still hadn't named them. and then today i see they exalted both babies without ever naming them and i'm just like...wtf are you DOING, MAN.
MAD ABOUT THIS. how hard would it had been to name them jane and john or something before getting rid of them. now they're listed as "unnamed" forever. ):<
