The Unproductive University
Violet was an eager student of life. The cogs and gears of her brain perpetually turned; filled with both great inventions and even greater woe. Even with intelligence on her side, her journey into private education was not an enjoyable one. Her time at Prufrock Prep had left a permanent scar. Not in a literal sense, but in a figurative one. It was because of this she approached Hive City Academy with both reluctance and suspicion.
If only Hive City’s premier academy didn’t have a library. Perhaps then she could have avoided it entirely and the dreadful memories such places drudged up. Any place that had a library was a place that her family could be, and so it had to be investigated. Plus Sunny had prior experience is Academic Administering work, so there was a chance her sister could have picked up a job.
Doggedly Violet walked down the halls and approached anyone who would give her an ear. A figurative ear of course. Even with all Violet had seen, to be literally given an ear would have still been a terrifying occurrence. “Excuse me,” Violet inquired ever so politely and hand out a flier to the man. Upon the flier was a weather-beaten image of; herself with a child, her brother Klaus, and her sister who was a toddler Sunny on an Island. “Have you seen them? The boy can often be found in library and the girl,” Violet pointed to the toddler, “Might work here. The baby was normally with us, doing what we did. I honestly am unsure where she would go by herself. We’ve spent the last year on an island, and she was born on that Island. I am not sure what her hobbies would be in a city setting. But hopefully she is with them.”
