I used to love draikinator, their au’s, their art, their maps, everything. I still think that they’re a good artist, it’s just a damn shame that they’re such a shitty person.
My feelings about Draik started changing when things started coming out about them forcing their headcanons upon others. They act like their headcanons are canon, and if you disagree with a single one, you’re called transphobic/ homophobic. They are kinda a heterophobe, and will make characters trans just because they don’t like straight ships. This served as my one reason for disliking them for a while, until I followed Ashfur-Anon.
I found Ashfur-Anon thanks to another blog (Official Darkforest), because I heard that they had a rant on Draik. Ashfur-Anon and I talked for a bit and found that we had a few things in common, one of them being disliking/hating Draikinator. Then Ashfur-Anon posted a negative opinion on one of Nate’s designs (Pinestar to be exact) and Draik got pissed and the rabid 10 year olds that follow Nate went berserk on my poor friend.
The things they said were disgusting, and I hope that every one of those kids that sent a message opens their eyes and sees the truth about Nate one day. Something similar happened with Devilkitty666, and it’s a damn shame too, they were one of the only people willing to speak out against this bitch.
And now, Nate sent NSFW art to a minor. Nate committed a federal crime. I hope that the rumors about authorities getting involved are true, because it needs to happen. But even now, Draik’s white knight followers still defend them but they’re thankfully getting called out too.
Draikinator and their fanbase scarily remind me of James Charles with how toxic they are, and I hope that a larger creator like Moonkitti or Tennelle cancel this bitch like they did LZRDWZRD.
