Can y'all give Gothicthundra a follow on her new account, which is @gothicthundraog? For any of y'all that are relatively new to the KP fandom here on Tumblr, she is an extremely talented artist and fanfic writer (especially with Random Tales of Drakgo) and is a really huge Drakgo fan.

Well Shego, are you smarter than that molerat or not?" Based on last week's shenanigans with my boyfriend. He introduced me to super-tic-tac-toe (It's super fun) and I -against both our expectations- won 3 times in a row (I'm counting my blessings). I can imagine Dr. Drakken proving his 'genius' by playing this game against Shego. Surely tic-tac-toe is an easy game to beat him in? Right?!

Headcanon: Shego and Drakken have no separate bedrooms (long post).

Not sure if anyone has thought about or noticed this before but hear me out!!

In the season 2 episode Sick Day, we can get glimpses of Shego and Drakken's 'bedrooms'.

Following the storyline of the episode, Shego is the first one to get sick because of her fight with Kim, she then stays inside her room to ensure Drakken doesn't get sick after which Drakken teams up with Killigan and then gets sick as well.

Looking at this room, we clearly can see that it's Shego's. It's green-themed, has a make-up table, drawers for her clothes, etc. But when I watched this episode (multiple times), I was so freaking confused about Shego's bed. It looks so uncomfortable, too small even for a 1 person bed and nothing indicates that this is one of those beds that you can pull the backside up for back support since it's one big 'piece'. Of course, the backgrounds are stylistic but if you look at the drawers for example, you can see the lines that indicate where the drawer can open.

A-ha! This is not a bed, this is a sofa.

Shego likes to read and lounge about, so she would definitely have a nice cozy spot to sit on to read her magazines. But that leaves the Question: Where in this bedroom is her bed? Answer: There's none because there's not even space for an actual bed.

Just like Drakken's bedroom, Shego's room has a moat surrounding the middle platform. Placing a bed here would end up in having a too cramped space in here. Now take a quick look at Drakken's room.

Something that caught my eye (and surprised me on the first watch after all these years) was how big and RED Drakken's bed is. Both Shego and Drakken have colors that lean towards cool tones rather than warm reds and they (most of the time) stick to their themes. So it's very odd for especially Drakken, who's blue, to have an entire bed that's red. It's not even his opposite color since that would be orange. What else: his entire bedroom is JUST a bed with surround-sound speakers and a TV.

My theory: This is Shego and Drakken's shared bedroom. 1. Shego's bedroom(?) Shego's room in this episode isn't her bedroom but a relaxation room, full of her personal belongings. This is the place where she goes to take a break and be alone. Having her own relaxation room isn't uncommon since in the Christmas episode, it's confirmed that Drakken has a 'mudroom' in the lair but he doesn't even know what it's for. So he either let it be made for Shego not really caring what was in it or doing research or Shego took it upon herself to get one installed. Her mini spa as you will.

So if that's not the room in which she sleeps, what is?

2. Neutral grounds The bedroom we see Drakken in is also Shego's bedroom. Let me explain:

Both characters, like I said before, have 'nothing' to do with red; at least at first glance! If you look at the color wheel, you can see that their specific colors together make for the balanced opposite of red. (I went through multiple colorwheels and posting all of them would make this post even longer so yeah have 1).

So we can say that this area is neutral terrain for both of them. They can go in and out of here as they please, without any hassle or the other saying "This is MY bedroom." because none of their personal belongings are in this room.

3. But then WHERE is Drakken's stuff? His lab. It's probably all in his lab.

SO HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED: 1. Shego got sick after the fight with Kim, but none of them knew that Shego was infected. Getting sick usually takes a day or two (at least for me) and so Shego found out that she was sick a day or two after the infection.

2. She stayed out of their shared bedroom and remained in her relaxation room to quarantine herself in the hopes that Drakken didn't catch her cold and he could focus on his plans. However, since it's been at least 2 days, Drakken also would be infected because of their shared space.

3. After a while, Drakken got sick as well and went into the bedroom because he had no lounge sofa or anything to lay in. He has just the bed.

My conclusion: Shego and Drakken share 1 bedroom to sleep in. The bed is big enough for 2 people. Shego probably sleeps more than Drakken does and maybe they take routines with one person sleeping at a time or so, maybe they sleep together with each of them at the furthest end of the bed.

Or my whole color theory and background analysis is off and it's just red because it makes the blue in Drakken's character pop, but there's one more piece of desperate-looked-into 'evidence' that shows that they have a 'relationship' in this bedroom:

there's a FREAKING HEART on the wall that STILL DOES NOT MAKE SENSE TO ME OTHER THAN THAT THIS BEDROOM IS THEIR LOVE NEST.

May it represents them having 1 strong bond or them screwing each other's brains out on a Friday night after karaoke time, idk. It can't really be a random hole because of the lack of depth and there are no small holes anywhere else in the room. It cannot be a shadow since it doesn't line up with anything else in the room, the underlaying line isn't shown and the color is slightly off/darker when color is picked and compared to the shadows of the tunnel in the back of the room.

So yeah it's just a big heart being there. Probably just to fill up the space but idk, I'd like to think that there's ALWAYS thought and meaning behind every detail in whatever art or media there is. So there you have it! My overly in-depth analysis. I probably went way too deep into this theory, but I like to think of it this way (especially since I've been drawing cozy cuddle scenes that I'll be posting here later).

He couldn't hear her voice anymore as everything within him suddenly seemed to center at the point of their union, blackness speckled with stars overtaking his vision as he ejaculated.  He felt so connected to her, so wanted, as small, involuntary thrusts brought him deeper until the rush slowly began to subside.  His vision gradually returned and he was favored again with the vision of her impossibly perfect green body beneath his, his arms trembling as he held himself up.

"Ugh..." Shego groaned.

Drakken grinned.  "Was it that good for you too?  Hey--!"

A pillow impacting hard against his jaw and causing him to bite his tongue finished his return to reality, and he became aware all at once that her groan hadn't sounded pleasurable, but annoyed, and that her cries of his name before had seemed to be in protest.

He sat back on his knees as he wiped his face where the pillow had stung it, regretfully pulling out of her warmth, and then he caught sight of her deeply annoyed expression.

"That's it?" she said, fury in her voice.

"Oh..." Drakken mouthed, dread coming over him.  "Did...did you not...?"

"Of course not, you dolt, that was like five minutes!"

Embarrassment flooded Drakken and he began stuttering apologies as Shego clambered out from under him.  When he tried to move nearer she shoved him hard in the chest, and he fell back to his rear, his deflating hard-on adding further to his shame.

"I...I'm sorry, Shego, it's just...it's been so long, and I'm tired, and--"

"Whatever," she said, turning her back to him and yanking the blanket up to cover herself as she apparently settled in to sleep.

Panic, humiliation, and frustration toward himself were at war for dominance in Drakken's mind.  He looked down at his sad, spent genitals, any lingering hint of arousal having faded with the realization of his failure to please her.

He tried to touch her shoulder to apologize again, but she jerked away, and with a churning in his stomach and his heart beating frantically, he sadly left their bed and headed toward the bathroom.  He considered asking her if she wanted to shower first, but as she seemed keen on being angry with him he decided he may as well.

Having sat for far too long under the hot streams of water, Drakken had had plenty of time to think.  The only way he could think of to get back in Shego's good graces was...well, to satisfy her.  That was in part why he had stayed in the bathroom for so long, was to make certain he'd be able to get hard again.  But also to contemplate the best way to bring her to fulfillment.

He blow-dried his hair and fluffed it around his shoulders, knowing she liked it long, and then turned to check his appearance in the mirror.  As long as she didn't reject him...he knew he could do it.  He had plenty of times before.  It was just a matter of gaining her favor.

"Shego?  Shego?"

Drakken's cautious voice woke her from her grumpy dozing and she blinked to see a wall of pale blue with a mixture of black.  As her vision cleared, the image materialized into Drakken standing naked before her, the thin curls of his happy trail and the thicker ones surrounding the darker blue of his privates the black she had seen.  She noted that he had begun to harden and frowned, barely lifting her eyes to his.

"What do you want?" she fairly accused.

"To please you," Drakken said.

She heard the slight tension in his voice that betrayed his nerves, but despite her irritation with his selfishness before she couldn't help the swirl of desire that rose in her chest.  And while she was still angry she knew it wasn't wholly unexpected...  They hadn't seen each other in months, after all.

"And just how do you expect to do that?" she finally replied, leaning up on her elbow.

Drakken smirked and gestured to himself.  "You get to look at this whole package, for a start," he said, drawing himself up and slowly turning around.

Shego looked at the dimples of his rear end, the strength in his legs, and the unabashed confidence on his face when he faced her again, hands on his hips and swelling member beginning to twitch.

"Thought you were finished," Shego said, maintaining an air of skepticism even as she sat up in excitement, the blanket falling to her waist when she swung her legs over the side of the bed.

"With you?  Never," he said.

"Pfft," she scoffed, even as a smile started to curl the corners of her lips upward.

Drakken swiveled his hips, dancing to imaginary music, and Shego couldn't help herself but to laugh as his growing erection spun like a pinwheel.

"You like that?" he teased, stepping closer and rolling his hips more deliberately.  The exaggerated action didn't produce the same result, and his length merely bobbed up and down.  Shego continued to chuckle as he walked it toward her until the purple tip hit her breast.

She was going to comment that he wasn't hard enough to be that close to her yet, but then he slid his tip down to rest at one of her nipples.  She watched, fascinated as without any touch of his hands he manipulated the stiffening length to tease her nipple to to a firm peak.

"Okay, well this is new," she finally said, trying to maintain some aloofness even as she felt a renewed tingling in her nether regions.

"I'm full of surprises, Shego," he said, moving over to the other breast.  She watched silently as he performed the same action, so fixated was she that it startled her when his hands gently took her wrists and moved her hands up to his hips.

She followed his leading and slid her hands around to cup the firm flesh of his rear, and after running her hands up and down over the curves for a long moment she began to knead the muscles that she hoped this time would soon be put to better use than they had been before.  She wouldn't admit it aloud, but she already felt herself swelling with need for him, even more painfully than before for having been left unfulfilled.

She crossed her arms across her stomach, kneading her own breasts as he brought her closer and closer, the look of love and desire on his face only making her more desperate for him.

He chuckled and shifted his stance, bending his knees slightly for a better angle and then brushing his hair out of his eyes.  Shego hoped he would get closer to her so she could run her fingers through it and touch all of him.  But she also enjoyed watching his strength and the rhythm of their love.  Regardless, she knew this was going to more than make up for his carelessness of before and she'd almost forgotten already except...

"Sorry," she said as he slid more of his length against her folds.  His brow rose in question and concern.  "For getting mad at you."

Drakken frowned and shook his head.  "I should have been paying more attention."

Shego likewise shook her head.  "I want you to enjoy me."

Drakken pressed his tip against her nub again before placing it back at her entrance, this time letting go and reaching forward.  Her hands met his in the space between them, their fingers clasping even as she lifted her hips to try to get any bit of him inside.

"Only if...you can enjoy me all the same," he said seriously.

Shego reached back to move her hair away from her neck where sweat was building and then took his hand again, a smile returning to her face.

"Then what are you waiting for?"

The next sound that left her throat was a pleasured gasp as he slid inside, a perfect fit that spread and stretched her in every right way.  As he pulled all the way out and then pressed in again with measured slowness, she knew he wasn't going to take anything for himself until she had reached her peak.  She pulled his hands to her gently swaying breasts to at least give him that, and he held them eagerly as his hips rolled forward and backward, hers rising to meet every steady thrust.

To say she was enjoying him was an understatement, and after a few minutes of watching the dark blue girth appear and reappear, glistening from how very ready she was for him, she grabbed his biceps and pulled to bring him closer to her.  His thumbs turned circles over her nipples as he kneaded her breasts in time with each slow push inside, and she leaned up to meet his lips, whimpering her pleasure as he drew out her arousal as long as possible.  One of his knees found a place on the mattress next to her so he could maintain leverage, and the slight change in angle somehow brought him in deeper.

She watched a different light enter his eyes just before he kissed her again, his tongue meeting hers in another caress as he continued to roll his hips steadily against hers.  His lips moved to one of her breasts as she began to cry out in ecstasy, wordless gasps escaping her lungs as he never once faltered.  Her high was prolonged to near-pain as he refused to relent, the slow rhythm somehow even more intoxicating than the rapidity of their first round.   She was barely coming down from the intoxication, each thrust pushing her right up to the edge again.  He seemed to be aware he was doing exactly that as he nibbled on her skin, even slowing down his thrusts to make sure of it, and she pushed on his shoulder to make him meet her eyes.

"Drakken..." she gasped, barely holding her thoughts together.  He was still grinning knowingly as she let him ravish her.

When the Dust Settles

Drakken stumbled over the rocks that were still hot underfoot. He tried wiping the steamy grime from the eye-shield of the gas mask he wore, but it only spread it around and made his vision worse. His gloves and coat had already gotten filthy in his search, but it was the last thing on his mind as he stumbled over the super-heated and steaming rocks toward the hover-car.

The disaster replayed in his mind like a film in slow motion: the hover-car spiraling out of control and nearly crashing in the sea due to Kim Possible's interference; Shego's typical bail-out and subsequent fight with Possible on the beach of the volcanic island; the earthquake and ear-splitting sound that had heralded disaster; and finally the eruption.

It wasn't like he had pictured volcanic eruptions in his mind or seen them on film. There hadn't been a rain of lava or even any of the fiery orange substance he had seen. In fact all there had been was a towering plume of gray smoke, and...the pyroclastic flow.

He had read about such of course, and seen images from eruptions in modern history. But watching it occur in front of him had been a sight he wished he had never seen. While smoke and ash towered above, they also slid down the sides of the volcanic mountain in deceptively beautiful shapes, blooming upward and outward, the gray reminding him of petals of a dead flower.

At the distance he'd been hurled to and had remained stuck struggling with the hover-car, it had appeared to be slow and harmless smoke and ash. In reality, the cloud was composed of super-heated poisonous gases, steam, and volcanic rock traveling over the ground at hundreds of miles per hour.

The illusion might have interested him had he not realized it would soon be his end, if he couldn't get the hover-car out of the water. And amid his struggling came the horrifying realization that Shego (and Possible and her side-kick) had no escape whatsoever from the deadly force that was hurtling down the mountain.

He had managed to get the hover-car functioning and lifted it up off the ocean's churning waves, where the deadly flow was racing toward him across the water's surface. And then, terror and anger struck him simultaneously as he saw racing from the clouds, a familiar shock of red hair along with blond, rising to safety on the teen heroine's backpack jet-pack.

'Just the two of them.'

Drakken leaned against the hover-car, wishing the memory of mere minutes before would leave. And yet he knew it would haunt him...possibly forever.

After he had watched from safety, both the departure of his hated nemesis and the dispersal of the deadly cloud, he had of course gone straight down to search for Shego. The gas mask was a necessity, as deadly sulfurous gases still lingered, not to mention the thick ash that still floated through the air.

There was no beach anymore, the island having been fully transformed by the eruption. The trees and foliage that hadn't been buried or destroyed were covered in ash, and the island appeared larger where the flow had stretched out over the waves, new temporary land having been created.

Drakken had landed the hover-car on an actual rock, near to where he had seen Shego leap out of the craft to engage Possible.

'To defend me?'

Drakken wanted to take off the gas mask, but he couldn't for fear of the remaining poisons and ash that floated around him. The inside of the mask was fogging though for his tears, as his attempts at distraction from the trauma and fear were proving futile.

Shego was gone. A victim of circumstance, and abandoned to die by his arch foe. He wanted to be furious with Possible, and he was. But the grief was too fresh and the pain too great. Suddenly all of their past arguments seemed unimportant, in the face of never getting to speak to her again. And he would have happily listened to her mocking if only to hear her voice...

'You were a fool.'

He'd spent years arguing with Shego, treating her like less than she really was to him even though he truly didn't know what he would do without her. And his deepest feelings, the ones he had buried for years and vowed to never reveal... Now he wondered. If he had said something, would things be different?

The air around the hover-car was starting to clear for the ocean breeze, and he risked pulling off the gas mask. He dropped it on the hover-car's seat and searched for a napkin to wipe his eyes. Shego had always advised carrying a supply of basic necessities, considering how often they traveled. He rarely listened to her, and thus came up empty-handed in that moment. He pulled one glove off instead to wipe his bleary eyes.

'I love you, Shego...'

He wanted to follow up the thought with a 'goodbye.' He knew he should, and needed to... But the mere thought sent his tears flowing again. And strangely, he could hear Shego's voice in his head, mocking him for it, telling him to suck it up and that if not for her he would be dead too.

It was that thought that made him sick to his stomach, and it took all his willpower just to breathe.

He blinked as the wind changed and ash got into his eyes, wiping them again and then peering around at the wasteland. Steam still rose from the ashy rock and the waters beyond. The boulder where he'd landed the hover-car was near the cliff face where supposedly was hidden an all-powerful ancient artifact. But they'd not even had a chance to look closer as Possible had intercepted them.

He stared at the area now, covered in ash and with rock piled all around, not even resembling what it had when they had arrived. He began absently replaying the memory of the events, from arguing with Shego to Possible's arrival and the subsequent loss of control of the hover-car, and finally to the volcanic eruption.

As he tried to pinpoint the exact moment he'd last seen her and heard her voice, a green glow suddenly seemed to show from within the cliff face. Drakken thought for a moment he was seeing an illusion due to the smoke, but then the glow grew brighter.

A strangled cry left his lips as he hopped off of the hover-car, gas mask forgotten, and began stumbling over the rubble as fast as possible toward the glow. The cliff face suddenly exploded outward, and he threw up his arms to shield his face from the flying rock. A few hit his forearms and his exposed hand where he'd removed his glove, but he continued forward regardless, squinting against the ash that had been thrown into the air.

And there, silhouetted against the rising smoke, was a hunched, slow-moving figure. But it was one he would recognize anywhere.

"Shego!" he gasped, stumbling again as he increased his pace.

She looked up, squinting through the smoke, and as their eyes met Drakken saw her frame relax. His arms were outstretched as he reached her, and without a thought he picked her up at the waist and spun her halfway around before wrapping his arms around her in a hug, her feet still off the ground. He hadn't even realized what he'd done until her arms went around his neck, and then he set her down and found her staring at him incredulously.

He opened his mouth to apologize, but what fell from his lips instead was, "I love you!"

Her blinking eyes grew wider as his face colored. His mind was racing for a way to take it back, but there was none. And some tiny part of him felt...relieved, for finally having told her.

After a moment he was surprised when Shego's response was to let her arms rest around him and to slowly rest her head on his shoulder. He took the chance and held her tighter, simply grateful she was alive and well.

He felt it had been scarcely a moment when she pulled out of the embrace, though it must have been longer. She was looking at him, but part of her was elsewhere, deep in thought. He held his breath as her jaw worked for a moment before she painfully cleared her throat.

"Can we get out of here?"

"Oh, yes!" Drakken said, turning and letting go of her. But she grabbed his arm at the bicep, and he reached back and held hers in kind, his brow rising.

"How...how did you survive?" Drakken asked shakily, eager to fill the silence.

"Saw what was happening... Blasted a hole in the cliff, and then caved it in on myself to hide," she explained, coughing through the smoke at the end.

"That was...ah...very..." Drakken trailed off, unable to finish the sentence. He was too busy staring at her... At the softness of her cheek, the gray ash on her eyelashes and in the tangles of her hair... Simply overjoyed she was alive.

She looked up at him when he didn't finish, that same soft incredulity and distance in her eyes that he couldn't read. His face flushed again, but he still couldn't regret what he'd done... Even if she mocked him, insulted him...even left him forever... She was alive.

He helped her into the hover-car where she studied the gas mask for a moment before pushing it and his glove down to the floorboards. He climbed in and sat next to her, finding her studying him again. Her eyes narrowed as her brow seemed to twist in concern.

"Were you crying?"

Drakken ducked his head slightly in embarrassment, and then his eyes snapped up again when he felt Shego's fingers under his eyes, wiping away the soot mixed with tears. When her hand fell first to his jaw, and then to his shoulder his breath caught. And then he saw what looked like indecision in her eyes. She licked her lips and then scowled at the taste of ash, but then her expression set with determination.

"Shego?"

His heart began instantly pounding in his chest as she leaned up and placed a dry kiss on his lips. Everything suddenly felt warm and right, and he held her tightly and returned the kiss with all the relief and joy flooding his soul. When they parted her face was flushed and she looked surprisingly shy. But she circled her arms around his neck and leaned up to whisper in his ear.

"I love you too, Dr. D."

Drakken swallowed down the lump that came to his throat and blinked away the onset of tears, made more difficult by the ash still in the air. Everything else forgotten, he set the hover-car on auto-pilot and then looked shyly into her eyes.

"Shego, don't...please don't scare me like that again," he said, leaning away slightly as he realized his arms had found their way around her again.

"No promises," Shego smirked, leaning away slightly herself. But then seconds later her arms had tightened around him and she had nestled into him, causing his heart to race. "I promise..."
