Rooibos always amazes me by somehow tasting "red." This tea is earthy in the way particular to rooibos, and lightly sweet. It carries a slight mango tang, followed by nectar-y peach that blooms on the palate. This tea is exactly as described!

This tea is light, smooth, and subtle. Gentle sweet with a delicate (heh) aroma and essence of jasmine that is with you for a moment before floating away. It fades faster as the tea cools, so it's best enjoyed hot. If you like a smooth jasmine tea but don't want something intensely floral, this is a good tea for it.

At long last... After losing exactly 80 polls... This tea is deceptive in that the aroma is a bit too intensely green, but the flavor is bright, fresh, and sweet! It's extremely smooth, fresh, and balanced in the green essence and its sweetness. An absolute winner if you love green tea!

This tea is nutty and sweet, in both aroma and flavor. It's gently earthy, and fruity in a sort of grassy way, if that makes sense. It's very complex and each sip has me searching deeper for more of the flavor nuances. Very enjoyable!

The aroma coming out of the dry tea leaves is heavenly! Warm black tea, fragrant bergamot, and almost a creamy lavender underneath it. Extremely promising! Then...I steeped the tea too long, which left a bit of a soapy taste to the lavender. That's my fault. But otherwise, the balance between the Earl Grey with the added lavender has clearly been expertly done! I can tell this tea will be wonderful if steeped properly. And adding a little milk to bring out the cream flavor just makes it sublime!

Chamomile, lavender, and overall just a subtle calming herbal flavor. I think I'm getting fennel or licorice as well, one or the other. I do believe it makes me sleepy. The flavor isn't exactly for me, but it does its job well!

Last winner was....a mystery tea!

This is some kind of very mild chai. There's cinnamon, rose, and just a general faint spiciness that leaves that heat and tartness in the back of your palate long after you've swallowed. I'm not sure what exact tea this is... I have a guess what it's called, but I'll keep that to myself. I had prepared loose leaf bags for travel (in February) and then completely forgot what a few of them were, and this is one of them.

Last winner was Wild Raspberry Hibiscus

This tea is just as tart as you would expect! There's a faint sweetness from the raspberry which can be brought out with honey, but the tart of the fruit and the flower are the dominant flavors. The longer you steep it, the more the hibiscus takes over. There's a nice herbal balance underneath the tart, and the tiniest pop of citrus to bring a bit more sweet. This is a fun one that changes based on how you prepare it!
