Chilchuck is just. me on four hours sleep being told i gotta do things when actually no, i dont want to at those times, and its not convenient or fun. i can either be awake at 6 and go to the gym (don’t want) or do three miles at 3pm in company (don’t want) because i mentioned i wanted to go for more walks

@drakones Yes, I know, but it’d be scummy to just kick people out at random because I don’t like their input, and I can’t really think of a way that I could implement a rule effectively. I don’t want to ban DBZ outright. Obviously I can ban TFS shit, but that is only a bandaid on the problem because the fans tend to carry stupid stereotypes and bad understanding of the series over into actual canon..

Nobody talks about the time vegeta died and gohan raised his son for him in the future timeline lmao. Guess it's only deadbeat when Goku dies.

I got a bit of a theory, that the fandom just wants Vegeta to be Gohan. They want Vegeta to have the tragic backstory with the traumatic childhood and still turn out to be a good man, husband and father on top of being heroic. But i guess Gohan leaves too little to the imagination in comparison since his life is laid out for us to see every detail, while Vegeta has more room for self insertion.
Gohan is a nice dude, so he wouldn’t be as popular as mr. bad man himself, Vegeta.
The way people prop up Vegeta is weird. They talk about how badass he is even though he loses almost every major fight he’s a part of. They talk about how he became a good dad even though...he didn’t until Super and even then, it’s mostly towards Bulla and not Trunks. They talk about how Goku is the one that lets all bad guys reach their final form when that is something Vegeta is notorious for.
Like...people jumble up the character traits, throw a bunch of positive ones at Vegeta that really belong to other characters and then throw Vegeta’s negative traits on other characters.
I think Vegeta is an effective character for his role, but holy shit, the Vegeta that I know vs the Vegeta that the fandom knows seem like 2 entirely different characters.
Anyways, Gohan is the best dad, the most badass and everyone should praise him instead.
