@dramacliche | ❀ | NANCY x ROBIN
“I just wondered if you wanted to... Hang out or something?” Nancy asked, offering Robin a smile. “Steve said you finished early, so I thought I’d come over.” She said, standing by the counter in Scoops. They’d done a good job of rebuilding the mall after the events of the fourth of July, but it still had a sense of eeriness and uncertainty. Who knew what was going to come next? But still, she couldn’t let it spoil her summer. “I don’t exactly have a job to go to anymore, but... I’ll make things work. Still gotta try and figure out how I’m going to see Jonathan.”

this time, steve’s brought some of the kids over along with robin, and him and the kids doing... something. god knows what, but it’s noisy, and it sounds like there’s some arguing going on. the walls are thin enough where there’s no real question, but until something breaks or there’s a particularly loud thunk, joyce usually lets them deal with it. they’re getting older (god, are they ever). they have to learn to work out their problems on their own, as much as it stresses her out.
sometimes, though, the chaos leaves robin out in the cold. “ c’mon, ” she says to the girl, gesturing towards the kitchen. “ why don’t you and me have some coffee? i have hot chocolate mix, too, if you’re not a coffee kind of girl. just keep it a secret, or else every kid here right now is going to raid my cabinets for swiss miss. ”
( @dramacliche | group verse starter call. )
her brow furrowed as her quick feet shuffled along the floor, lightly shoving her way toward the host of the party. or whatever this was; it wasn’t like any party she’d been invited to, or one that her father hosted. but she didn’t quite know what else to call it - so for now, it was a party. rapunzel finally sighed, shaking her head with a small huff as she’d finally gotten her way through a small crowd of people. “hi, hello--” he started with raised brows, “have you seen my BROTHER? kind’ve looks like me, only taller. and male?”

“While I still regret the fact that no one is allowing me to blow shit up this year...” Jeremy let out a soft hum as he stretched himself out across a blanket laid out over the grass. Multiple people, unanimously, had told him he was not to be trusted setting off fireworks, and that he should leave it to the professionals, even if he thought he could do a better job at a display. “I think we can still get drunk. Without the risk of killing ourselves it might not be as fun, but it’ll still be... Fun enough.”
