I'm genuinely frightened of liking peoples posts just in case they get upset, or if their friends will get upset for seeing me liking a post, so if you're in the TGS fandom please interact if it's okay for me to reblog and like your art. "What if Hyde was 7 years ol-"

What if Hyde was a young man who robbed Jekyll late one night, and to avoid being arrested manipulated Jekyll into taking him into his home and 'adopting him'. Jekyll accepts because it'd make him look like a better man, especially after he drunkenly injured a child. For a while, he allows Hyde to continue going out at night. After all, he doesn't truly care for him. But eventually, he becomes envious, Hyde has tried getting him to join him on his nightly endeavours but Jekyll has refused, living vicariously through him. Hyde begins to cause trouble, and after a particularly grizzly assault (non fatal) on an older man one night, Jekyll has finally had enough. He creates the formula to get rid of Hyde, his pent up rage over Hyde's misbehaviour has become too much to handle. His reputation is being destroyed, and he doesn't want to look like a quitter. Donning the alias 'Mister Seek' he tracks down Hyde, and kills him, taking his place as London's terror.

The TGS fandom is fascinating to me because most of the fandom is children. It's a fandom filled with greasy haired children who all want to be chaotic and have "gremlin energy" but continue to conform. It is hilarious. You claim to be chaotic, a wild creature of the night, but you haven't left your bedroom in days! And then the Jekyll ones, my god. They're either the nicest or most obnoxious people you'll ever meet. There's no in-between. I find it strange that the one thing is true with most, if not all fans of the comic, regardless of if they view themselves as more of a Jekyll or more of a Hyde.

They're hypocrites! Where's the chaos that you Hyde's claim to love so much? Where's the kindness and compassion from the Jekylls!? There needs to be more fun, strange and unusual artwork. I swear, all the art I see here on tumblr is a rotation of the same three ideas. Where's something unique like Jekyll on a unicycle, Hyde eating pudding and getting it on his shirt? It's all ANGST, ANGST, CHAOS ANGST, ANGST. I'm yapping!

Posting this on tumblr too, Sage should really put the same amount of effort they put into getting upset over Jekyll BBL into.. hm, I don't know? Telling TGS fans it's not okay to tell people to kill themselves? They're aware of the harassment that a few fandom members (myself included) have been facing and they've said absolutely nothing. If you're going to interact with your fans, Sage, you can't pick and choose who you do and don't like. It's extremely unprofessional. Inappropriate jokes are a bigger threat to Sage than the safety and mental health of minors in the fandom. Don't get it twisted, I'm not saying they're responsible for keeping children sane. I am saying they're obligated to speak up when people are saying "Hey, im getting bullied, please make some sort of post so that people know not to bully one another in the fandom" that is the absolute fucking least they could do.
