i wrote a really long rant about the origin of hungarian but sadly my phone only allows 250 characters. the point was, that there are debates about it, but by the official (in this case this means most accepted) theory it's a finno-ugric language.

try to use computer and submit then, in submission you can write longer texts.

I know, there was always some debates about this since I was little.  but we were taught that Hungarian is a Finno-ugric and yet it is same however it is proven, genetically we are not related. how as I said before, a language is not a genetic matter.
