Yeah but Wyatt’s been going through this longer than what we’ve seen on screen right? So maybe it’s moving at a more natural pace then you’d think.
Yes, it's been going on for about five years now, right? That's a long time. But, from what we've seen so far it seems like Wyatt's stuck in that moment. Like he hasn't moved on at all. And I get it. It's not only that he lost the woman that he loved but he also feels extremely guilty about it. And that has been holding him back this entire time. And now that he knows about time travel, I think it'd be harder for him to let go. And then it's the whole thing with Wes Gilliam, did he do it, did he not? Obviously not in this timeline, but why didn't he just deny it? Why was he so mysterious about it? I think Wyatt should be having the same thoughts, so that's why it felt a little rushed to me. It's like ever since he tired and failed to bring her back, everyone's acting like this was the end of it. But they did have more urgent problems to face so I kinda get it. But like @kalena-henden said, him saying that he should be open to possibilities is a first step, doesn't mean he's 100% ready. So maybe it's just me expecting something different.
