justice, vengeance

Justice is what I seek

I judge the ones in debt to me

They stole my soul, these wanton thieves

Now dole my foes their penalty

I think “judge” is actually supposed be “charge” but mleh

This song possessed me (/j) so I drew some of my characters seeking justice… or, well. Most of them are out for vengeance.

Polaris wins the ‘ok but are they actually out for justice’ award, lmao. Tenebris gets second place tho

Had this one story that I scrapped where there was this… plant? device? someone was using to drain draonkrifs of their magic, which kinda slaps tbh

It grows on the horn, since draonkrif magic is easily drawn out towards that point, and though some of the magic is probably used to sustain it, a lot of it forms these little “fruits” that can be detached from the tree and absorbed or possibly used for other purposes

Incarcerated for an attempted assassination on the royal family, charged with conspiracy and treason, and suspected to have committed at least one murder, former scholar and instructor in magical physics Saar Anima may very well be the Draonkrif Kingdom’s most dangerous prisoner and is treated accordingly.

After being interrogated he expected to be executed, but the day never came. If you asked him, he’d say he suspects that the royal family has forgotten him altogether.
