Christmas? Everyone is asleep by 4pm from booze and good food.
Grand Final? Everyone gets drunk from either boredom, hatred of both teams playing, despair at their team losing, or in celebration of their team winning.
Going to the cricket? Piss up. On Pimms and gin, but still a piss up.
Funerals? Yeah them too...

Oooh now this is a good one. And no, unfortunately not, the fanciest cake I ever got was a log cake and a circle cake for my tenth birthday :P I think my brother got a farm cake once though? Which was literally just a square cake with green icing :P
My cousins always had awesome cakes though, like trains or pirate ships, and I’d imagine they were probably inspired by the Women’s Weekly cookbook :)
Is this a 'Which Deadly Sin/Heavenly Virtue best suits me' thing? I reckon Pride probably fits you pretty well (& everyone on this damn website is lazy :P) I'm tossing up between Temperance and Diligence, not necessarily because you're constantly exhibiting these traits to their positive extremes, but 'Temperance: justice & honour' and 'Diligence: persistence, effort, ethics' (mostly Diligence tbh) both seem to fit your values and you overall (as I know you, anyway. If I'm way off...oops, sorry)

And hmm they make a fair bit of sense for my values, but I don’t necessarily always uphold them. Temperance more than diligence I think, but both of them definitely fit me more than any of the others
interesting (?) fact about me (this is more like a confession tbqh): i haven't read a book all year. i think last october was the last time i finished a book cover to cover. i've barely picked one up to even attempt reading this year. up until 2012/2013 i read ALL THE TIME but lately it's just not appealing to me? but i didn't realise that and i kept buying books so now i have too many unread books and no desire to read. it's gonna flip around again one day though. i hope...

I keep on buying new books so it’s not like I DON’T HAVE new resources to read, but... I just... can’t? Usually I can rip through 2/3 books weekly, but ever since the end of last year probably I couldn’t seem to find the motivation to do it. The same thing went for the last semester, I felt so exhausted and jaded with everything it was TERRIBLE. I hope it’ll get better for both of us though <3
