Drarry Strugglefest Week Two Roundup
Thanks again to everyone who's been following our fest and giving love to our participants! We had a really great turnout this year of (EDIT) 18 - possibly 20 - incredible pieces, so, after today's, there will be a few more to go. (We'll also post a complete roundup at the end, so you can check them out at your leisure!)
If you like the works our creators have shared, please reblog and go leave them kudos and comments on AO3!
Title: That time Draco Malfoy burned down Number Twelve Grimmauld Place
Author: @gallifrey1sburning
Summary: What it says on the tin. (For the prompt: Harry and Draco are trying to renovate Number Twelve Grimmauld Place to make it habitable. They accidentally burn it down instead.)
Title: An Expensive Courtship
Author: @anaxandria-writes
Warnings: sex; misunderstandings (cleared up by the end)
Summary: Draco spent years gathering up courage, then months of extensive planning, and literally tens of thousands of Galleons in his attempts to woo Harry. Harry just thought they were best friends.
Warnings: depression/self-isolating tendencies; Harry endures biases against werewolves; sex
Summary: Nobody ever told Harry that becoming a werewolf makes you stupid. Yes, being a werewolf gets him fired; yes, parents keep their kids away from him; yes, crowds smell awful. Everything that Hermione has told him after his first full moon has come true. But there was no one to sit him down, pat his back and inform him that his wolf-self would turn out to make the dumbest decisions one could ever settle on.
In which Harry is a disaster of lycanthropy and cannot keep his paws off Malfoy.
Title: Tale As Old As Time
Summary: This is a story about heroes, about those who are tired of being the hero and those who never thought they could be worthy of that title.
This is a story about love that fuels friendships and makes people brave, love that persists and grows even in the darkness.
This is also a story about unlikely companions united by a shared goal, a story about bad singing and only marginally better dancing and a story about the colourful worlds we build when our own becomes too much.
Summary: McGonagall introduces a mandatory Muggle studies programme in 8th year for all the returning Purebloods, in the spirit of educating wizards about the Muggle world. Each Pureblood gets to be paired with another Halfblood or Muggleborn student to help them out. Draco doesn’t brook any complaints, until he’s paired with Potter and learning about something called the Internat (??) with him.
Summary: A trip to the park with Teddy gains Harry more than he’d anticipated.
Title: Seven Days of Stereotypical Stupidity
Warnings: embarrassment; extremely anachronistic timeline
Summary: Harry has realized (gasp!) that he has a crush on Draco Malfoy. (Who could’ve guessed?!) The thing is: he has no idea how to go about seducing him.
Good thing Ron is there with a GREAT plan to make it happen.
