DrauCor for the bingo? ^_^
for @garbria DraCor, a pleasure to do this pairing!
I was commission by Garbria from here (tumblr won’t let me tag them properly ;w; and also flagged the initial post. So check out my twitter for the full image, totally worth it in my opinion!!
Cor and Drautos!! I keep wondering what their relationship (if any) was like. They at LEAST knew each other in a professional capacity, both being Captains of their respective units. But I speculate even before that-- because surely Titus was a Royal Guardsman before the Kingsglaive was established, its literally the predecesor of that group + he must've had enough justified time spent abroad in Niflheim to have had the time to become General Glauca undetected in the first place.
13 Draucor
13. Hide the tears hug So this one comes with a bit of backstory, since I had to find a reason for why Drautos would be the one so vulnerable. What if Titus had agreed at the beginning to become Glauca, with the understanding that he would be housing something within him that had a mind of it's own. He's angry at what's been done to him and the others who are not Lucian born. So he starts on the path of becoming a traitor. Inevitably, as he continues to gain traction within the ranks of Insomnia, he finds himself in a a captain's position. Then he starts having feelings for Cor leonis of all people. But getting to know him, he sees that the king and the others are doing something more than just sit on their laurels. And sees that he could help make a change with them and the rest of the Glaives. So he starts to suppress Glauca. In turn, he gets a lot of pain that leaves him doubled over. Cor ends up finding him through one of the fits, has no clue what's going on, but does his best to try and console him.
Will Titus tell Cor what's going on? Will he tell the king? Or will Glauca eventually over power him and do exactly as was planned? Up to you to decide >>
36 with Draucor?
Hug Prompt: 36. I thought you were dead hug
*wiggles on in* Draucor~
This is one I love but I honestly don't venture into a lot. Sadly most of my headcanons stem from role-playing and the one thread I did for them never quiet got anywhere thanks to life.
That said.
I always imagine their relationship just sort of happens. They don't even realize it either, it just sort of naturally unfolds between them the longer they work together. Too many nights spent sleeping on the couch in Titus' office together after too many drinks and venting about their days.
They don't notice the shift from coworkers to friends, from platonic to romantic. The little gestures like rubbing Cor's shoulders while he reads a report to him just came naturally to Titus.
A lingering hand in his short hair as he moves paperwork away before the Captain drools on it just felt like the right to do to Cor.
It was only when they first kiss that it dawned on them that either of them even had those feelings for eachother. And even that just happened instinctively, a goodbye before a dangerous away mission. Hesitating and looking at eachother after waiting for someone to be disgusted or angry. But they both just laugh.
And they say their goodbyes again and never talk about it.
But they kiss again in greeting when the mission is over.
