Early morning light tickles the back of my neck as I open the door to the tavern. I awoke early to meditate and find my center in this new place. The tavern is still quite with only a few people in it, as it is still the wee hours of the morning. I accepted a job and am to meet some other adventurers here and gain more knowledge on the task at hand.
My traveling companions are to be some weary looking Sorceress named Aura, and a hermit of a Druid (I mean what do you expect from a druid) named Maelin. The client we met with wasn’t exactly forthcoming with information, so we interviewed some others who happened to be in the tavern to gather a bit more information before we set out on our adventure.
The Rouge we interviewed said he had heard of otherworldly beings out in the forest but hadn’t seen any himself, so that wasn’t very helpful. The Archer we interviewed after that was even less helpful in not knowing anything at all. Aura also insulted her, so while funny, very unhelpful. Lastly, we interviewed a Wizard who was a complete DICK and was also unhelpful. Not really gaining any knowledge we decided to venture forth.
We did also eat a hearty breakfast, which I very much appreciated. Best way to start an adventure is on a full stomach.
