It was often that Ahri wandered from the academy, tired of studies and missing the thrill of a fight. Unfortunately, it tended to be quite a pain to pick one herself, so she would have to wait until she stumbled upon one. Or... she could watch someone else’s. She’d heard of the magnificent shows that Noxus made of execution, though she had never gone before. Finding a cloak to cover her was easy, weaving through the streets remaining unseen and sneaking into the Colosseum in which the executions were held was a bit trickier - but doable. The guards that had caught her upon entering had been... magically persuaded to overlook the little incident.
Sadly, the spectacle was nearing its end by the time she had snuck in. She had still gotten to experience the shows she had heard whispered about in low voices. As the bodies were taken away, she hungered. It was a waste of essence. Fresh, human essence. It was tragic to have to leave so quickly just after arriving, the hunger within her still remaining. She exited with the other spectators, listening to their excited retelling of the show. As much as she wanted to listen, she found most everyone discussing what she had already seen. Removing her hood, she idled in one of the halls of the building, letting other people pass. There was no need to be crushed in the crowd - She’d wait until it thinned to nothing.
