A small collection of illustrations I’ve done over the years for Grim Co.

Crazy it’s been over five years since I first started brainstorming and concept art for the project. It’s changed a lot since I first came up with it, initially being a Sci-Fi series akin to Cowboy Bebop in setting(space travel, but modern-ish tech). 

Nowadays it’s set as an alternative history scenario in which Russia becomes an an anarcho-capitalist “state” instead of communist(partly inspired by the Armored Core series), WW1 goes quite differently, and WW2 never happens, with the “main plot” occurring in the late 60′s/mid 70′s. The overall feel I’m going for is very much along the lines of [Jin Roh: Wolf Brigade] and the [original GITS film]. Slow and deliberate, and when the action hits it should hit hard and with a sense of realism and weight.

My work schedule has finally settled down, and I think now is the time in which I can really start digging into things and showing off this world that’s been rattling around in my head for half a decade.
