Fierrochase Soulmate AUs

Colors AU

Magnus and Alex aren’t really big on PDA but they hold hands a lot

Both of their palms are usually covered in colors

But since the colors stay for a while they’re kind of revealing

Magnus usually has colors in his hair and on his lips

So Alex will also usually have her/his lips covered in colors

Alex doesn’t like when Magnus touches her/his hair since it messes with the color and “Come on Magnus, do you know how long it takes to dye?”

So naturally Magnus can’t help running his fingers through Alex’s hair

Alex gets revenge by drawing words on Magnus’s face when he’s asleep

Tattoo AU

Magnus’s tattoo is always changing but there’s a few things that are always there:

The symbol for change, the two snakes

A potter’s wheel

The word abuelo

And, eventually, Magnus, written in fancy, stylized cursive

Alex’s tattoo doesn’t change as often, and it’s mostly a collection of names

First is Natalie, then Annabeth

As the years go on, more and more names are added but they eventually become fainter as time goes, the boldest ones still being Natalie and Annabeth

A falafel appears next to the names and Alex almost laughs the first time (s)he sees it, since the rest of the tattoo seems so serious with a bunch of different names written on it

The bold next names to appear are Hearth and Blitz, then Sam

After those are Mallory, Halfborn, and TJ

Eventually, the name Alex is also added to the collection of bolded names in a messy print

Drawing AU

Alex and Magnus both leave notes to each other on their arms

Neither of them are sure if it’ll still work once they get to Valhalla, but it does (even for the bit when Alex is alive and Magnus isn’t)

Because of the way the Norse afterlives work, Soulmate bonds continue through death, sometimes becoming fainter overtime but still always there

Once they’re find each other, they keep leaving notes on their arms but sometimes they’ll mess with each other too

Alex is really good at sketching, so Magnus doesn’t really mind the pictures, even though Alex insists on drawing so the pictures show up on both their faces

Magnus usually just leaves cute little messages like ‘Hope your day is going well’ or ‘Miss you’ but he’ll also write helpful reminders like ‘Don’t forget to eat/drink’ and ‘Don’t forget to get some sleep’

Eye color AU

Magnus can see two colors: dark brown and amber

He loves fall

All the trees are so bright and pretty

Winter is nice too because all the tree trunks and branches stand out but fall is still his favorite

Alex doesn’t think (s)he has a soulmate at first

The only colors (s)he sees are black, white, and gray so (s)he assumes (s)he doesn’t have a soulmate and is aromantic

But when Alex talks to other aromantic people (s)he learns they have a platonic soulmate and can still see one color in addition to black and white

So (s)he’s really confused, but Alex is still pretty sure (s)he’s aromantic

Alex wonders if maybe (s)he just doesn’t have a soulmate, platonic or romantic

But then (s)he meets Magnus and realizes he has gray eyes

But then so does his cousin

There’s probably other people with gray eyes too

So Alex starts to think maybe (s)he does have some kind of soulmate
