Been doing some shape exercises with highlighters! It’s been very helpful in forcing me to group details together as opposed to trying to render everything.

And of course, after drawing a bunch of sculptures, I had to try the technique on Astarion. 🫣🤭🥰

It's excercise time! Day 1

I need to learn how to draw hands properly! 😅 Yesterday i was talking with my friends about my struggle and @naiheltales proposed to excercise to draw one hand a day, so we could practice and improve our skill!

This week I’m going back through my old projects and filling the gaps in preparation for my formative assessment on Friday.

Here we’ve got a drawing exercise in which we recreated the alphabet with our hands to then draw! This kind of workshop is absolutely fantastic for helping you draw hands. Our lecturer specifically set out to tackle those “I can’t draw hands” thoughts. And I’d say it worked!
