Doot! doot! I came across these musicians the other day at the Whole Foods in Union Square, of all places. Originally I wanted to make a quick sketch from the cafe on the 2nd floor, which has a large window overlooking the park, but when these guys started playing I had to switch plans. There's something especially fun about capturing live music, I think because the music, the rhythmic nodding of the figures, and the act of drawing itself all have a similar movement.
