I painted this last year back in September right after Robbie proposed and made me the happiest woman in the entire world. This was the last painting I was able to create before I had to stop completely due to my tendon injuries. *health update coming soon*

His love, compassion, and sense of humor have kept me alive through all of the chronic health conditions and injuries I’ve had to endure over past couple of years. I wouldn’t be here without you, my love. Thank you for everything. I love you with everything I have.

#365SketchChallenge 67-78/365 - #HeavyMetalDetox #Painting #wip 3/8-3/19/18 Hey everyone! Happy Ostara!!! Its the astrological new year and the beginning of Spring! I hope everyones’ day is blessed with incredible health, wealth, and happiness! Its been a rough couple of weeks, but I’m still persevering! My moon cycles (menstrual cycles for those of you who don’t know what I’m referring too ;D haha!!) are still difficult because all my symptoms get worse, however, every month is a little better thanks to the @medicalmedium protocol. I’m incredibly grateful for the progress so far. I decided to make a little amendment to my personal #sketchadaychallenge. Somedays, between career work, house work, health conditions, everyday life, pain in my arms/hands, etc. I only have a couple minutes to work on my #sketch, however, I’ve found in multiple instances already, I’ve wanted to spend those precious moments working towards refining an old sketch or painting and illustration instead of starting something new. So, for the past couple weeks, I’ve been using my sketch challenge time to work, day by day, little by little, on this painting, which actually started as one of my sketches! This is an illustration of the heavy metal detox ingredients. This smoothie is one of the ways I’m slowly regaining my health and recovering my life. I guess this #365sketchadaychallenge is going to look more like a #365ARTWORKadaychallenge! HAHA!! Honestly, the whole point of this exercise was to help me heal, reconnect with my inner self and sense of purpose, and work through the PTSD created from enduring all the trauma of the chronic health conditions I continue to fight through. So, as long as I’m sketching or painting everyday, even if it is a #workinprogress, I would say it’s a win in my book. ;) Keep believing. If you’re going through any sort of health struggle, please know my heart goes out to you. You can heal and you will heal. I believe in you and we can do this together, one moment at a time.
