“Wouldn’t it be cool to name a star after yourself?”
Stars were something Melia never found herself tiring of. They were calming to her weary self; despite how one might find the vastness of the starscape almost overwhelming when thought of too much, the princess found some comfort in the endless infinity that the stars encompassed. The stars were something that everyone on the Bionis gazed out to when they felt the same way that she did when she gazed up to the heavens so many times. They contained boundless wishes and hopes. Something so brilliant lay in the stars that the people of Bionis, Homs and High Entia alike, used it almost as one would a wishing well.
Reyn’s question gives her a moment’s pause. To name a star after oneself. An almost poetic thought. Carry out ones legacy within that of a single star; it reminded her of how many would name their children after themselves or their spouse.
“Yes...it certainly is a nice thought. I think I would prefer to name a star after someone else however.”
