My timelapse of my Jancy True fanart!

like...... what even is the celestial spear though??

right now it seems like all the people there were aspiring to become something and this provides them with that opportunity. they've all had their recent memories wiped thanks to a contract they can't remember signing, and it seems pretty likely that as far as everyone back in Bamerica(??) is concerned, they're just missing.

so let's say Jancy is investigating this whole thing. she knows Eugene maybe? maybe she gets a ticket and goes to check out the "experience," but she knows her memory might get erased so she pulls strings to get tickets for the Drawtectives too, slips that note in Rosé's pocket, and puts the coins in their mouths, knowing they'll come look for her.

doesn't explain why they still have their memories, but alright, maybe Jancy somehow has hers too. if she's the one leaving clues for them, she must remember them, right? and maybe she had a close call with someone, they ripped her pin off, and she left it as a clue for the Drawtectives. maybe the "someone" she's after is whoever has a grudge against Eugene? hard to say.

we know there's magic in this universe (if the celestial spear is even in the same universe) but this seems extremely elaborate for someone with a grudge.
