This past Saturday we opened the brand new Steven S. Koblik Education and Visitor Center. We ALSO opened a new walkway that goes right past the newly-installed bright red 24-foot hunk of amazingness that is Alexander Calder’s Jerusalem Stabile (1976), on loan from the Calder Foundation.
Turns out, in addition to being superbly fun to look at (or imagine with antennae), it’s also a blast to sketch. And so we launch #drawtheCalder. Draw it, sketch it, paint it, whatever you like—and then show your fabulous renderings to us! Share them here on tumblr and over on Instagram and Twitter. Just be sure to use #drawtheCalder so we can find it.
