Waking up, practically screaming as she dreamed once again about her father. Becca slipped out of bed and made her way downstairs to sit on the porch. Running a hand through her hair, she pulled the blanket around her body and looked out at the stars. Hearing the door open, bit down on her lip. “Sorry if I woke you.”

Stone was ready for his head scratches. He was more than prepared to make a feast for the dealer of the scratches. Not to mention, he was fairly certain he would get laid by the end of this late night. Stacey had said that he needed to sleep while she scratched his head. Being cozied up in her comfy tits would be more than a blessing.

Fearing he’d wake her grand daughter, Stone sent a text that said he was outside. By the time, she’d be able to get to him, he would have all the bags stacked over his forearms. He was only taking one trip back to his car, and that was in the morning before school started.

A whole weekend, just the two of them. Holding back excitement was quite the feat for Dolly, who wasn’t that good at hiding much of anything. Her mother passed it off as her thinking she would get a little more privacy, although the blonde had to say that didn’t make much sense. She had plenty of privacy with her mother around, enough to have sex with her step-father, anyway. She hoped that would be what her weekend alone with Eddie would be about. She flitted around the house as her mother finished up packing and headed towards the door and saw her off with a smile, no panties present underneath her sundress. When the door finally shut, she pressed her back against it and looked to Eddie, wondering when they would start. “You’re not going anywhere, are you, daddy?” She asked,  trying to subtly make sure she wouldn’t have to spend her time alone. Sure, she could find ways to satisfy her excitement on her own, but that wouldn’t be nearly as fun.

Tony honestly can’t believe that he’s putting a crib together for his own kid right now, but that’s exactly what he’s doing.  Ruby’s nearing the end of her second trimester and all of this is becoming more and more real.  He’d never thought he’d be in this position, but honestly?  He was loving it.  He was giddy, and more than a little excited about every aspect of Ruby’s pregnancy.  It wasn’t just around the house either.  It was during lamaze and the parenting classes that he’d gone to with Ruby.  It didn’t matter to him that people gave them weird looks when they walked in holding hands, he was going to be a father.

He was going to propose to her too, eventually, but right now Tony was more concerned with getting through the pregnancy without any issues.  Right now though, he was getting a head start putting together all of the Pottery Barn furniture that had arrived over the past few days.  Tomorrow was Ruby’s baby shower and the gifts had been coming non-stop for the past two weeks.  Every single one of Ruby’s sisters were in town along with Kristina, Dia, and Chloe.  Priscilla had seen this as an opportunity to make it known that Ruby was HER daughter and had invited all of the girls out to some fancy brunch that Tony could only imagine was going to be ridiculously awkward. 

They still weren’t sure if Clyde was going to make it, but Tony wasn’t thinking about that as he continued working.  It depressed him when he considered the possibility that he’d completely ruined his relationship with the man he’d considered his son for so long because of all of this.  They’d reconciled completely about four months in, the last time he and Ruby had gone to the island, but Tony hadn’t seen him since.  They talked from time to time, but it wasn’t the same.  Either way, the entire Wright brigade was staying at a hotel and while Tony felt a little bad that he couldn’t host all of them at the house, he was more grateful than anything else.  He’d get his bed and his woman and wouldn’t have to worry about who saw him walking around in his underwear.

The crib only took about forty minutes, and he put together the changing table and rocking chair next.  He’d cleared out empty boxes as he worked, so when he’d finished the last piece, all he had to do was run a vacuum and step back to admire his work.  The room was really coming together now.  The walls had been painted last weekend and with the furniture in place, it was officially a nursery.  For a moment, he felt as if he might cry, but he shook that feeling off in favor of taking a quick shower before Ruby got home.  Once he was out, he settled downstairs in the living room, his legs up on the couch as he lounged and watched the game.

Hendrix knew he shouldn’t be there, but you don’t just see a girl you’re half in love with on a billboard and NOT bring her flowers on opening night.  He’d sat in the back in a seat that he wouldn’t have been able to get if his boss wasn’t a big donor at the theater but even from there he’d been able to see how amazing Missy was.  What surprised him the most though, was that as much as he didn’t like the guy anymore, he’d expected Dean to be there.  He hadn’t seen him inside the theater and now, as he waited at the stage door for Missy to come out, her boyfriend was nowhere to be seen.  It didn’t matter though, because as soon as Missy came out, Hendrix made sure he was the first person she saw, holding out a bouquet of roses with an easy smile on his face like the one he’d have had on it if she’d actually invited him.
