This is my actual window view.
Before I moved into this place, I lived near the countryside where there were fresh air, lots of trees and insects, with beehives often formed in my balcony. I could heard some wild dogs/wolves fighting at 3AM. I have been living in this place for 2 years, and this place is very cyberpunk-like. The air is much filthier compare to my old place. I often hear 20 police cars or fire trucks passed by, or Initial D car racing at 3AM. There are triads, prostitutes, random people swearing and fighting on the street just like Sleeping Dogs. Many things happened since I moved into this place. Joined rebellion to fight against the old triads, and our puppet government. Teammates got busted. Got some GTA stars for us.
With China is failing at this moment because of COVID-19, the oppression is hitting harder at Hong Kong because China wants to take our money, power and ruling. I am pretty scared for my future, I don’t know whether we should continue fight back with our power so little, or just leave this place. But understanding the history for USSR, Berlin Wall, Jews, India, Korea, Taiwan, etc, the path for freedom is never been easy. I hope I will live til the day when CCP falls.
