Hard work is not Drayton's style. If he could have wiggled his way out of this, then he would have. At least, that's what he would have normally done, but it's different this time around since it concerns his own Pokemon.
Archaludon needed to be cleaned up after a battle, the steel-dragon type having gotten hit with some ground moves and left it dirty. A particular Mud Shot had left a hard to scrub off stain. Leaving this in someone else's hand would be preferred, but...this is his Pokemon. He knows them best and he's certain that his ace would prefer him over someone else cleaning him up.
"Yeesh, next time I'm makin' Kingdra use Rain Dance to help," he sighs. It's not a bad idea to use it now, but he doesn't want other students to deal with the rain and snow in the Polar Biome. Even if he's fine with the cold weather, most aren't.
His ears perk up when he hears someone approach. Might as well try his luck if he can get some help, right? He's already cleaned up most of his Archaludon anyway, but help would be appreciated.
"Yo! Mind helping out the Drayster? I bet ya can get some points if ya do."
