In past years, I have designed special tams for people with extra-long locks, who were frustrated by hats that slipped off or ties that did not stay in place. My solution? Lightweight cord with an adjustable cord stop that stays put! The special stitch pattern of this tam will stretch to accommodate the longest hair. The opening is extra-wide to fit over coiled hair before adjusting the drawstring to fit. The bottom of the tam has a closer, wider design for a classic round shape. The bottom seam is securely stitched and thick for comfort. The drawstring can be easily tucked under the hat when worn. This machine washable acrylic hat is made with warm, extra-soft yarn. Gentle cycle to wash or hand wash. Laying flat to dry is highly recommended. Smoke and pet-free home. I only use natural, hypoallergenic laundry products.
