"Sometimes people have to accept they're just not good at battling."
"She might not be, but word could get back to her." He was popular enough that he wouldn't put it past someone nearby listening and posting about it on social media. He didn't think any of his fans would do something like that, but he still couldn't help worrying about it. However, having Raihan actually, to an extent, made his frown vanish and was replaced with a bright smile.
"I still disagree with you a little. Yeah, at the time, the trainer and their Pokémon might not be strong. But if they have a strong bond and are willing to work together, then they can get stronger. That's how I became the champ, and I'm sure you went through something similar."
