Tommy’s new video is so direct and personal I really fuck with it. I appreciate how upfront it is. All this stuff has been boiling for years and It’s great that it’s coming out in full force now. I don’t think Tom’s a perfect guy ofc but clearly I really still vibe with him + I feel a lot of genuine passion and introspection in most of what he produces, he has every right to be proud of the thing’s he’s created.

I won’t speak much on dream from here on out since I tend to avoid him on the internet until things like this (inevitably) crop up, but I think that the way he’s handled all of his controversial situations is immature at best. It seems like when he writes these long messages, threads, and reddit posts and does these livestreams that there ARE genuine feelings put into it, but there is no self reflection. It’s just anger that he tries to repackage as “being reasonable”

I don’t really hate dream fans tbh as a whole, I know how it feels to hyperfixate on something to an intense degree and how it can feel too heavy or even painful to let go. I think there were moments when dream was mistreated by the internet, and I think it’s easy for those who want to see the best in him to latch onto that.

I think dream’s behavior has been regressing and it kinda makes me sad. I can’t really stand the guy or his circle, and everything from behind the scenes that comes out about them makes me dislike them more.

It feels like Dream got to the “your feelings are valid” part of therapy and never went past that. If he feels bad then that means he’s in the right

I think Tom deserves this time to just be completely open about everything he’s felt since he started working within this sphere. I think when people like Toby have criticized him about things like getting too into the bit at the expense of other’s comfort it’s completely valid. I don’t think dream is a person who has any right to use those criticisms, especially considering anything turned sexual. “He started it” and “they wanted to be treated as adults” are not excuses in any way. And language like that is why he’s probably never going to shed the groomer title in the public eye. It’s literally textbook speak for teenagers and kids to look out for. It’s disgusting.

Ultimately dream comes out of this looking like an even bigger dick than I already believed him to be. That’s kinda my biggest takeaway here, just like, “what a jerk.”

Honestly I'm loving the fact that Dream literally cannot keep his mouth shut. Like dumbass has an efficiency V shovel and keeps digging himself deeper.

Like don't get me wrong, I hate that he still has a platform, that his followers buy all of his bullshit, that he and his sycophants keep harassing people. But like, there's something glorious about the fact that even with all the dust he kicks up, it's resulting in him becoming less credible, coming across less professional, alienating more and more people.

There's also something deeply poetic about a clown with a massive number of followers slowly driving cracks in the monument he built himself and is clearly miserable. Meanwhile, other streamers who know when to stay quiet/stay out of drama are thriving and having a good time.

man, i was definitely into qsmp before but now i wanna go full ham about this server. I'm gonna obsess over it, I'm gonna draw fanart and post about it and watch tons of perspectives etc. because honestly right now we should just ignore dream's antics and support the server members. dream wants attention, and if you go into a stream and chat some stupid question like 'any thoughts on the usmp?' or 'are you gonna join the usmp?' i will tear you to shreds and so will the mods probably because what the fuck y'all.

let's just support the qsmp by watching, donating, engaging, and not giving dream any way to make himself seem like the victim. (ex: when someone makes a vaguely frustrated comment about him on a stream and his fans turn on them, ahem, eret, ahem)

I hate weighing in on drama, and I hate Dream for a multitude of reasons, but the fact that he announced a 'multilingual' server just two weeks after Qsmp with literally no previous indication that he was interested in creators from other communities in different languages? And die hard dream fans are tearing the Qsmp apart because of the semantics of 'multi' vs 'bi' lingual?

These projects can't "coexist" when it's obvious one of them is attempting to ride the coattails of the other and overtake it.

It's so sad how Dream saw Quackity being praised for breaking barriers and uniting communities and instead of supporting another creator, only thought "hey, I can do that too."

It always felt like a publicity stunt with Dream than actually grieving and sure everyone grieves in different ways but this to me just didn’t look or feel that way. Especially with the fact that Dream wasn’t as close with Techno as Phil, Wilbur, Tommy, Sophie, Skeppy or literally anyone else. Also the fact that during some of the events held in Techno’s name, dream spent promoting himself instead of the foundation or the cause they were there for was so disrespectful and distasteful. Their whole relationship revolved around their rivalry and that was it…

If anyone was given the mantle then it was the Phil, Wilbur and Tommy but that’s just my opinion
