EMS related stress dream

I was supposed to work with a medic, went to go put my boots on but there was ice and snow in my boot for some damn reason. By the time I'd sorted out the weird boot situation the medic decided that I was taking too long, yelled at me, and left. I was really upset, and everyone else wanted to just go for breakfast or something to cheer up. They weren't happy when I declined due to being upset and needing to be alone.

My subconscious is not subtle.

Had a super scary dream about getting sent to prison for no reason. They didn't even charge me with anything, and there wasn't really any reason for me to be there, but once you're in the carceral system it is very difficult to get out, even if you're there by mistake.

And this was all on the day I was supposed to take an important licensing exam, so not only was I in prison, I no showed for the exam.

It was children's prison, too. The dream prison officials decided I was probably a minor and put me in juvenile prison where, in the dream at least, you are not entitled to legal representation because eff them kids.

The only bright spot was the friend who visited and brought me books.

I think the moral of the story, aside from obvious criticisms of the prison system, is to consider kicking a couple bucks to the Inside Books Project.

Hi Anon!! I'm glad you liked it! ^^ I ended up putting it aside a bit to focus on my commissions, and then on ideas that randomly pop into my mind, and I need to draw them or else I'll never do it. But I plan to get back to it soon. Since it's a short comic and for humor, I believe I won't take long to finish it! (giving a proper ending to Amy's dreams 😉💗)
